@andrew_lilico Bit difficult to say, I think there has been a long term drift leftwards and we are seeing a reaction to that now. I don’t think the people who want less migration (for example) have moved, they just haven’t been represented by the politicians they voted for.
Manchester sadly knows terrorism only too well.

People who arrange attacks on synagogues believe themselves to be the Good Guys. We need to think about whether we contributed, actively or through negligence, to them coming to believe that.
I don’t normally post much on here, but today I would like to send my deepest sympathies and support to my Jewish friends, colleagues, neighbours, and fellow countrymen after the horrific attack in Manchester.
