Has this ever happened to you?
Your neighbor is walking their dog, the dog goes to the bathroom on your lawn, and you politely ask the owner to clean it up. Her response? “No, I’m not cleaning it up.”
At that point, it’s not just about the dog poop. You’re completely disrespecting a neighbor you’re going to have to see on a regular basis. Why create that kind of unnecessary tension with someone who lives right next door?
If your dog does its business on someone else’s property, pick it up. It’s basic courtesy and respect for the people around you.
Shay Taylor-Allen learned last week that she had matched with her first-choice residency pick, Yale School of Medicine — the very same hospital where she was born and later worked as a janitor. ABC News' Danny New has the story. https://t.co/Y4mQi3aXMr

"In November of 2018, just days before President George Herbert Walker Bush drew his final breath at his Houston home at the extraordinary age of ninety-four, something happened that almost no major news outlet ever stopped to fully tell: former President Barack Obama quietly made a private visit to Bush's bedside, the two men sitting together in the kind of gentle, unguarded conversation that transcends party lines and political rivalry entirely, with no cameras, no press releases, and no political theater of any kind. It was a moment of pure human decency, and it was entirely in keeping with the character of a man who had devoted more than seventy years of his life to serving a country he loved beyond all personal ambition. George H.W. Bush had enlisted in the United States Navy on his eighteenth birthday in 1942, becoming the youngest commissioned naval aviator in American history at the time, flying fifty-eight combat missions over the Pacific before being shot down near Chichi Jima island, rescued by a submarine while two of his crewmates perished, an experience so shattering that he rarely spoke of it in public for decades. He went on to serve as a congressman, Ambassador to the United Nations, Director of the CIA, Vice President, and then the forty-first President of the United States, and yet those who knew him best said the title he wore most comfortably and most joyfully was simply 'Dad' and 'Granddad.' When Michelle Obama wrote her tribute after his passing, calling him an extraordinary example of decency and a guiding light, she was echoing a sentiment that cut across every political boundary in America, because even Bill Clinton, the man who had defeated Bush in the 1992 election, said with unmistakable emotion that he would forever treasure their unlikely and deeply genuine friendship. Bush's last recorded words before he slipped away were spoken to his son George W., who had called to say goodbye, and the former president replied with complete simplicity: 'I love you too.' Some lives are so full of grace that even their final chapter leaves the whole world a little better than before.
.@RepAlGreen speaks to the media following his removal from the State of the Union address: "Tonight, I wanted him to have a person confront him and let him know that Black people aren't apes."
Florida correctional officer Mario Grier was captured on home surveillance video in Sanford violently grabbing and slamming his 9‑year‑old stepdaughter onto a car hood in front of other children.
In the footage, the child’s aunt, Leondra Chapman, sees what happened and immediately confronted him upon her arrival.
Sanford Police say they took a report, interviewed the family, and turned the case over to the State Attorney’s Office, which is now reviewing the video and other evidence to determine possible charges.
This man should be arrested immediately, fired from any correctional or law‑enforcement position, and kept away from this 9‑year‑old girl and her siblings.
This man listened to one of his favorite bands, The Eagles 🦅during his cancer treatments. His son wrote the band to let them know how much the music meant to him during that time.
They responded with free tickets to the Las Vegas Sphere event going on and stay at a near by hotel.
His reaction is priceless.
In 1946 WWII veteran Maceo Snipes was shot in his back by the KKK the day after he became the first Black person to cast a vote in Taylor County, Georgia.
After he was shot, Mr. Snipes walked three miles to the hospital with his mother. For six hours doctors left him waiting and bleeding. By the time he was seen, he needed a blood transfusion. The doctors said the hospital had no “black blood.” Snipes died two days later.
This is why I will vote in every election. The day I stop voting is the day I stop breathing. #DemsUnited #BlackHistoryWithLana
@Rightanglenews This is all that needs to happen. These principals, teachers, and superintendents who let these happen should all be arrested for child endangerment. Issue truancy citations to all the parents as well.
To the powerless liberal parents out there, take notes….
YOU are the authority in your children’s lives. They do not receive outright autonomy until they reach the age of 18 for a reason!
It’s time to become active parents again and stop the detached observational parenting! Blind baseless support and encouragement of any and all decisions your child makes is insane! You’re meant to be their guide down the path of right and wrong.
And yes, the school has this authority while the children are under their care during school hours. If something were to happen to your child while they are at school during school hours, the school is liable. If that seems wrong or confuses you, you’re part of the problem.
This principal is fantastic! Great job Daniel!
