The Flyer community lost a legend today in the passing of Ron Denkinger. Him and his wife Ann were leaders of the athletic board for 38 years. He served his country for 20 years United States Air Force. Please keep his family in your prayers.
The ❤️ for this school is unwavering. We are so proud of these girls and the hard work they have put in over the years. Good luck today ladies!!! 💙🤍

Tried for two years to retire this jersey but Mother Nature would not participate. Congratulations @allison_weidner for trailblazing the way for all those small town girls with big dreams. We are proud of you. @HuskerWBB#OnceAFlyer#AlwaysAFlyer#GBRWBB
Sean, what’s “fascinating” is the fact that HSF and Lindsay are both being closed by the archbishop. Lindsay is building an academy and HSF has to rebrand even though no kids are committed from Lindsay to attend the new Humphrey campus.
@ArchOmaha@ArchOmahaSchool
He also mentioned that in the foreseeable future less than 5% would come over to Humphrey campus and attend their academy instead. He said kids that don’t attend the academy will likely attend Humphrey High.
Lindsay K-6 enrollment in 2022 was 69.
@ArchOmaha@ArchOmahaSchool
At the meeting a gentleman from Lindsay spoke up about their academy they are building in response to the school closure. He stated that their academy will have a temporary location ready by 2024 school year and that most if not all Lindsay high school students will attend.
We keep hearing this being called a merger. That is far from the truth. This is a situation in which two schools are closing and being forced to create a new school in Humphrey that could financially setback two communities and erase over 100 years of history.
@TeamPillen
The rematch is on.
After clawing back to almost knock off No. 6 Indiana on the road, the #Huskers get another shot at Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes on Sunday night. https://t.co/sUp13GhcO9 via @HailVarsity
