Here's a cool sports story...
Luke Combs grew up in North Carolina as a Panthers fan, so after Hurricane Helene, he organized a charity concert at Bank of America Stadium to raise money.
But rather than charging Combs the standard rate, Panthers owner David Tepper donated everything.
Tepper let Combs use the venue for free. He didn't keep any of the parking, merchandise, food, or beer money. He also paid the salaries of all the employees who worked the event and even covered 100% of the tax bill.
The result?
It was the largest concert in stadium history, with over 82,000 people showing up to donate $25 million.
And since Tepper paid for everything, every single dollar that was raised went to hurricane victims.
That's incredible 👏
Larry Kehres is the winningest coach that you have never heard of.
He won 11 NCAA D-III Football National Championships in 20 years from 1993-2012.
Unsurprisingly, Larry Kehres designed his culture with specific disciplines to make it successful.
Here's are 8 of them:
Remember when Gen X got shit on all the time because we were lazy and entitled and didn’t win a world war? Fast forward a few decades and we look like fucking rock stars now, man.
Forget the XFL and USFL, it's time for the Mascot Football League that's just grown men in mascot customs trucking little kids.
This is the spring football league we need.
Simple, Not Easy.
Our goal is to absolutely master the basics.
As a football player, if you can’t control yourself it’s going to be very hard to control an opponent.
Change of direction prep is all about body awareness and being able to control oneself.
What a great time to be a 🐅! We had 74 young men for our 1st week of summer! I could not be more excited as a coach! The challenge is to keep showing up and getting better each week! #OurTownOurTeam@MPTigerFootball@MPTigerPride
