I still can’t believe that WFAN is letting @BrandonTierney and Sal Licata go for that bum. A real NYC sports radio show by 2 real New Yorkers. I’m going to miss you guys. After 2PM, you will lose me and many others @WFAN660 and @Audacy
@WFAN660@Audacy the decision to bring back @craigcartonlive back to the station and cut @BrandonTierney and his partner will prove to be your demise. Your station caters to other people other than the barstool, betting, finance bros who you think you need to attract.
I understand that you guys are a business the media market has changed and you guys are heavily involved with all of the betting sites, but you shouldn’t forget your core consumer. The consumer you are chasing now will leave you in a heartbeat
@craigcartonlive is cheap imitation of Howard Stern. If I want to listen to comedy and schtic, I don’t tune into your station. I tune into the FAN to hear concise, discussion provoking sports commentary from people who care about sports.
Listeners, such as myself, who have listened to the station since 1986 are among your core and loyal listeners. The demographic you’re trying to attract have the attention span and patience of a three year old AND they listen to podcasts.
Thank you @Mets for giving me the most torturous season I have ever had as a 55 year old Met fan. I have no words. This entire organization better take a deep look at themselves and make some major changes. @EvanRobertsWFAN can’t wait to hear your Rico Brogna..
@BrandonTierney hey Brandon big fan. Just listening to you and sound on the Audacy app and you and I can watch movies together. I also am a big fan of those gritty, 70s, New York City based movies. What about Serpico with Pacino? That would be on my list.
@BrandonTierney hey Brandon big fan here. Just want to say that I listen to you guys from this morning on the Audacy app on rewind and what you said about the intimacy of the whole Soto Red Sox thing is 100% dead on.
I am a 54 year old New Yorker living in the south who is a lifelong Matt fan and of Dominican descent. As much as I would love to have Soto playing right field for my Mets for the next 12 years, if he went to the Red Sox, I would totally understand and it wouldn’t surprise me.
