SV-ASC decklist thread. Building a handful of decks for this format since it was my favorite in the 2025-6 season, and want to save some old lists I never took apart before rotation.
Deck slot #12 undecided yet, between Crustle, PultZard, Ceruledge, Tera Box. Not many good or non-repetitive options, leaning Ceru or PultZard, Might just expand to 14 to fit in two rows of a 5-row nicely and include PZ, ceru, and Crustle.
Pidgeot Control, Kamil B’s EUIC 60 -Duck +Artazon. One of our locals lost to him in toronto asym which led me down the awesome path that is pidgeot control in this format.
Sideboard: Duck?
Edit: Duck to sideboard, Risky to main deck. I’ve decided any Psyduck-containing decks will have the Duck in the sideboard to prevent having a dead card in casual games.
Mega Absol ex based on Lucas Xing’s EUIC and Seattle lists. I put 3rd Monkey over Ice Cream as recommended by Xing’s own deck breakdown video after EUIC. Sideboard includes Risky Ruins (which replaced ice cream in his Seattle list) and other absol staples like ehammer and lively.
Gardevoir ex based on the last couple of 60s Henry Chao piloted. Sideboard includes some options for a diancie-less list and the mega gardy for anyone brave enough to attack with it as a closer.
Pokemon Trivia is again coming to New Orleans, this year with new sponsors donating incredible prizing! This has been one of my favorite parts of NAIC, whether you're a know-it-all or a new fan, you're going to have a blast!

4-3-1 at Indianapolis with the convergent evolution pult list. Very cool feeling to see two testing groups go into the tournament on the same 60 and do very well, but upset I couldn't convert. Thanks to @NickGermain_@ItsPacaPaul@gr1ddlecakes@vwebtcg@MichaelZaglewsk and Alex
All in all, I'm so happy that PTCG is such a social game. I love traveling and making new friends, and even if I whiff, I always have great weekends. NAIC is my tournament and I'm glad my stupid pult+hammers idea from 9months ago ended up as a good meta call one day.
Lots of improvement to be made from this point. I didn't practice at all going into the tournament and my rds 1 and 2 had very winnable lines that I missed bc of it. Finished out the day strong trying to prep a positive mentality for NAIC and I'm proud of my back-half record.
