That’s not fully accurate. They are Adnanites and Hijazi in origin after all.

@CSKified @isar22_ The Umayyads are from present-day Saudi Arabia, though. That’s a fact. And no, actually most families of Najd moved from the Hijaz to Najd about 900 years ago. There were also significant tribal movements from the Hejaz into Najd during roughly the 15th–18th centuries CE.
