You remember when Traveler straight up said “No” to helping a Nation in its time of need? Inazuma’s story is genuinely the worst in the game but it at least let Traveler grow as a character.
One thing i havent seen people talk about is how much better they've gotten at deploying title cards in the past year to punctuate for dramatic effect. much more cinematic presentation. i love me some title cards and text inserts
Imagine watching this series and being introduced to people who are TERRIFIED of Titans, only for one character to show up all cheerful, fearless, incredibly intelligent, and absolutely fascinated by them. They act like meeting a Titan is just a fucking amusement park ride. Hange is genuinely spectacular. 😭💜
while I love the abundance of mityavodya fanart where he's smitten/panicking around her, in canon I believe he's always the one in control
this is how he looks at her everytime she tried to bait him / make him do her whim
bet he got same smirk when saying that flirty 内緒だぞ
absolutely dying to talk about how i went into 7.0 expecting her to be an elegant and poised prima donna but came away from it loving her clownery and slight uncanny-ness
- has an actual kit
- has an actual personality
- his design matches his profession and adds to his character
- has actual gameplay and teambuilding
- no forced shilling to pressure people into getting him
- great va
not a lot of people can say the same about their faves
I love the theater cast so so much. Being trapped together, repeatedly facing the same ordeal and relying on one another to survive gave their relationships time to develop naturally. Half of them are NPCs, yet the story gives both groups the same emotional weight.
The way Mike Squad’s deaths genuinely affected their comrades psychologically, especially Erwin, Hange, and Levi, is something that really sticks with me.
Mike Squad was basically the closest thing to a perfect squad under the command of the second-strongest soldier. An elite unit whose members had spent years serving in the Survey Corps. They were veterans, highly experienced soldiers, and one of the elite squads we got to know in the series.
Losing them was like losing a rare diamond.
And I think the biggest impact was on Erwin. After Mike Squad was gone, Erwin barely had any protection left as the commander. Before that, he could rely on Mike and Levi as two of the strongest soldiers standing at the very front and carrying out his orders.
After Mike’s death, that dynamic changed completely. It really showed just how much Erwin had lost—not only an elite squad, but some of the people he could trust most to stand beside him on the battlefield.

Okay, don't kill me for this. I know Xavier is probably the strongest and all, but you know who scares me? Caleb
Why would you give an evol with that range and power to someone who's not psychologically well?? I'm glad I'm not his enemy 😅😅
