@DwayneS96420464@modestproposal1 Then tell them about all the revenue it brings in for those taxpayers in what the patrons purchase in drinks, food, housing, transportation. Merchandise, and on and on and on......
@DocStrangelove2 Unless you are clearing a building. Griping the gun to cock it and releasing to decock provides loud audible "clacks" that announce your approach and position.
@elsathora If your in DC on the 3rd I would extend to the 4th. I was there in 87 for the bicentennial of the on the signing of the US Constitution and it was amazing. No reason to think the semiquencentenial of our founding would not be unforgettable.
@LubySomers@NatureUnedited Yup, and he is clearly not comfortable turning his back on them like you would not have a problem doing with a friendly dog.
While I mostly agree i am ancient. From back when dinosaurs roamed the land and stuff like light weapon lights and red dots weren't a thing. I have some on a couple mine outta habit and as backup in case other shit fails. They are kinda like carrying a side arm to transition to from a rifle and a knife if everything else goes to shit. Simple zero weight change insurance.
I've had 3 over the course of time. An m8 with european mag release a M8 with American mag release and an M13. They were mostly safe queens and with the cost of mags. Like $150 a piece for the M13 they kind of all came and went. I do regret not keeping the M13, but the gun didn't make since for the way I used it at the time.
By definition if they were returned they had to have been taken. You can't return something that was never taken. If you imply that they were not taken through the execution of a warrant or National Security Letter or some other leagal instrument so it wasn't a raid, then you argument is semantic. Removing classified information in this manner would be a minimum a burglary and theft for classified information (since declassificaton was not yet completed)which is a felony. On top of which maybe the boxes were returned, but DOES we know what if anything was removed for the boxes during their absence?
