If we in the US are going to pray for Afghanistan then we need to also advocate for the opening of our borders to thousands of Afghan refugees. Prayer without opening our borders, communities, and homes are empty words.
Sad to hear of the passing of Andrew Walls. He was instrumental in making my alma mater (University of Edinburgh) a world-renowned center for the study of World Christianity and a formidable voice in that field. May he Rest in Peace and Rise in Glory.
