Big news this week — we’re officially locking in the date for the Layer Brett Public Testnet Launch!

Mark your calendars: December 1st, 2025.

This is when the community finally gets to go hands-on with Brett’s very own Layer 2 network — sending transactions, exploring blocks, testing the bridge, and even witnessing our AI-powered meme generator in action.

WHAT WE DID!

Finalized internal performance testing for both the execution (OP-Geth) and consensus (OP-Node) layers.

Synced all monitoring dashboards and verified network health over multiple continuous runtime sessions.

Connected the bridge contracts to the staging environment, confirming successful L1 ↔ L2 message passing.

Finalized explorer integration - Layer Brett’s custom block explorer now fully displays live block data, transaction activity, and Brett-style meme overlays.

Conducted final security and stability checks to ensure the network is ready for external connections.
