@caitriona19 how much a nurse earn has nothing to do with the bank’s CEO.
She should ask the govt where does the tax revenue gone when the UK people pay so much tax.
@LeftNatLeft As a landlord, no one expect a guarantee return, but expect a fair system to both renter & landlord. If you wish a lower rent, only two ways, (1) abundant housing supply (2) stable rental rule so people who has asset can invest in property & rent out to those who prefer to rent.
@Heccles94 Entrepreneur take risk to invest & create something great, ie. the phone. Entrepreneur is rewarded by the market. This is capitalism.
Workers work for entrepreneur to manufacture the phone, & receive salary from the entrepreneur. This is also part of capitalism.
Is it clear now?
@EshaAA33 Anyone’s wealth is nothing to do with you.
It’s pity that you are not working hard for yourself but moan on other wealth.
Build something, invent something, you can be the next trillionaire, trust yourself!
@ApexSeeker_ Inheritance tax.
It’s a death tax, it’s double tax, it’s a penalties to those who is responsible for their retirement life, it’s a socialist tax, it is damaging to the people as the wealth cannot be passed to next generation without hassle.
@Heccles94 so?
Can you open a supermarket, pay £30/hour to your staff, pay nothing to any shareholders? I believe you can do it, spend less time here, open the supermarket to push for your ideology, I support you! 😊
@Heccles94 no supermarket exist for no profit.
housing will be in the lowest standard for no profit.
healthcare will be in chaos if no private hospital to handle part of patient who is affordable for higher medical bill
energy & transport will not be improved as there’sno incentive to do so
@EdwardJDavey Same again. It’s a capitalism, not socialism please. Why do you ask for free for everything?
If you wish the final should be broadcast free, set the rule from the beginning, then the TV boaster know they would adjust the price they offered for the broadcast right.
@mikegardner_wb VAT should not be as high as current 20% in any case. It has detrimental effect to a household. It should reduce to 5-10% permanently for all items.
btw, I agree with you, it is not affordable for my family to visit a theme park for £200 even with few £ discount.
@LibDems but no other party is willing to tackle the illegal immigrants, no one is willing to lower taxes, no one is willing to incentivise the UK people to work hard & earn more, no one is willing to abolish net zero policy.
can you tell me what else can we choose apart from Reform?
