In the physical paper-checking era, hardly anyone from schools applied for re-evaluation. Seeking re-evaluation wasn't the norm. Trust was that high.

But this year, 25% of the 17 lakh students who appeared for the CBSE Class XII board exams have already applied for scanned copies as the mandatory prerequisite before seeking re-evaluation. This is unprecedented.

Now it's the social media era. Even a minor discrepancy travels far and creates doubt in everyone's mind: what if their evaluation wasn't fair either? This 25% reflects that broken trust, and it will likely increase with time as more discrepancies are expected to surface.

CBSE tried to solve a problem that didn't exist and ended up creating an even bigger one.

Why are we living? What is the purpose? What comes after this life? Why does anything exist at all? There are no universally accepted scientific answers to these questions.

The most common material explanation can feel emotionally unsettling: that life is simply a temporary biological process. One day it ends, consciousness disappears, and you cease to exist. Not only do you die, but your awareness itself vanishes. You won't even know that you no longer exist because the very thing that experiences, remembers, and feels would be gone.

For many people, that thought creates an existential vacuum. Belief in God fills that vacuum with meaning. Life becomes a journey rather than a random event. Suffering can have purpose. Death becomes a transition rather than absolute erasure. Instead of "I exist briefly and then disappear forever," it becomes "I am here for a reason and my existence has meaning beyond the physical."

Whether God exists or not is a separate debate, nor am I urging anyone to believe in God, but psychologically it is understandable why faith can make people happier. It offers answers where uncertainty can feel frightening, and certainty itself gives the mind rest.

Got an email from aspirants urging me to highlight the delay in RRB NTPC CEN 05/2024 (Graduate) results. It’s been 18 months, and the results are still not out.

The US constructed the Pentagon, one of the largest office buildings in the world, within 16 months in 1943, and we in 2026, with all our digitization, are not able to declare results even in 18 months. Strange! Requesting Shri @AshwiniVaishnaw to intervene.

क्या इस देश में छात्रों की हालत अब कुत्तों से भी बदतर हो चुकी है? हाँ, सुनने में कड़वा है, लेकिन सच यही है। कुत्तों के दर्द पर 11 दिन में सुनवाई से बात समाधान तक पहुंच जाती है, लेकिन जब देश का युवा, लाखों SSC अभ्यर्थी, अपने हक़, अपने भविष्य, अपने रोज़गार के लिए शांतिपूर्ण प्रदर्शन करते हैं, तो उन्हें 2 महीने बाद क्या मिलता है? लाठियाँ!

SSC की विभिन्न परीक्षाओं में अनुमानित 1.25 करोड़ अभ्यर्थी प्रभावित हो रहे हैं, जिनमें से कम से कम 5-10 लाख छात्र सीधे तौर पर तकनीकी और प्रशासनिक खामियों का शिकार हैं। यह स्थिति न केवल शर्मनाक है, बल्कि यह सवाल उठाती है कि क्या भारत का युवा वाकई सरकार की प्राथमिकता है? सरकार को चाहिए कि वह तत्काल सुधार करे, Eduquity जैसे वेंडरों को हटाए, और एक स्वतंत्र छात्र आयोग बनाए, ताकि इन युवाओं के साथ न्याय हो सके।

आज हालात इतने बिगड़ चुके हैं कि SSC छात्रों को अब mouse, pen और paper जैसी सामान्य ज़रूरतों के लिए भी लड़ना पड़ रहा है।
जब छात्रों की आवाज़ दबाई गई, तब शिक्षकों ने आगे आकर उनकी बात रखने की कोशिश की — लेकिन DoPT ने उनसे मिलने से ही इनकार कर दिया। आखिर क्यों?
शिक्षक वहां किसी विरोध के लिए नहीं, बल्कि छात्रों की समस्याएं पहुँचाने के लिए आए थे।

मेरा सिर्फ इतना कहना है — जितनी भी समस्याएं हैं, उन्हें जल्द से जल्द सुधारा जाए, ताकि आने वाले CGL और CHSL जैसे एग्ज़ाम में दोबारा छात्रों को यही हालात न झेलने पड़ें।
कई छात्र सालों मेहनत करते हैं, और उन्हें सेंटर जाकर पता चलता है कि exam cancel हो गया है — technical issues की वजह से।
ये न्याय नहीं है, ये लापरवाही है। इसे अब और बर्दाश्त नहीं किया जा सकता।

Eduquity जैसी एजेंसी की negligence का burden उन students को उठाना पड़ रहा है, जिन्होंने सालों मेहनत की है।
Technical problems, बहुत दूर-दूर बनाए गए exam centres, और basic चीज़ें जैसे mouse तक सही से काम ना करना — ये सब छात्रों को mentally और emotionally बहुत परेशान कर रहे हैं।
न कोई explanation, न ही कोई action।
अब students सिर्फ़ नौकरी नहीं, इंसाफ़ के लिए लड़ रहे हैं।
एक teacher होने के नाते ये मेरी ज़िम्मेदारी है कि मैं हर उस student के साथ खड़ी रहूँ जो system से जवाब मांग रहा है।
