@zengugi its very possible that it is an abbreviation for kagari as both sazanami and soga are there but both are written in full (sazanami just happens to only be one kanji). 香 alone is often pronounced kaori so in the event that it is an abbreviation it was just a small oversight

(qrting so i can do a thread) not to be that guy but i really feel like comparing gw and sbr anime adaptations especially through the lens of popularity is just not very helpful. gw has always been popular even pre anime thats just true. many japanese jojo fans started with 1/7

overreliance on cgi + small relatively short events + NO RELEASE SCHEDULE?? to me absolutely reads like sbr is being run as a cash grab bc fuji tv is struggling and they are cutting whatever corners they can to maximize profits. i would love for the sbr anime to be as amazing 6/7
