dysphoria doesn’t always manifest itself in misery as a whole and as a burning wish, but also as a general everlasting apathy which slowly eats you up to the bone of your soul until you are ready to leave this world. there is a certain point, where you don’t want anything anymore

I dont understand - like obviously diy but even private routes take maybe ~800 - 1000 to set up initially.

The wait for hrt on the NHS is a killer. I came out as trans at 17. I’m going to receive them in the coming weeks at 25.

Luckily I have a hormone imbalance. My body doesn’t produce enough testosterone. I have very little facial hair, breasts and an undeveloped Adam’s apple.

@DimensionsInJen dont make the mistake of delaying treatment simply because they're concerned about an imaginary risk, or some form of NHS approval.

Good for you though, seems you've done really well despite the NHS's bullshit, hope its not too frustrating hearing everyone say to DIY.
