@MarksReeseWIP guys the word animal has a definition - there are 6 kingdoms in taxonomy e.g. Animal & plant & fungus. Spiders and insects ARE animals. Under “animal” there is “chordata” which means having a spinal cord, and “Arthropoda”, which includes all spiders and insects
