@FiohoopsPix@esidery At the end of the day, I will never fault a kid for going to the league to guarantee himself at least double what his collegiate program is going to offer him while also accumulating one year of service toward that second contract.
@FiohoopsPix@esidery The rookie pay scale is projected to increase by 7% next year, so we are talking a few hundred thousand at most - which is a lot, but not so considering the situation. Your language suggests that the NBA doesn’t develop players. I disagree.
@FiohoopsPix@esidery …go pro and hopefully get drafted higher for more guaranteed money over the lifetime of the 2+1+1 contract. But you never know what could happen. Passing up guaranteed money is difficult. Worth considering.
@FiohoopsPix@esidery What makes 1-10 the sweet spot? The difference between the 1st pick and the 2nd pick is the greatest delta. And that delta gets smaller the further you go down the list. I’d argue there is no “sweet spot.” The argument to make is to come back one more year in hopes to then…

Championship on Roy’s bench, ended the war against Duke, retired Coach K (twice).
Right time to move on, but he shall dine in the halls of Valhalla (Lenoir) forever.
@TacosTweets Watching this play in real time, I exhaled loudly because the window for this throw was tight. Required incredible touch on the throw - looks like he led 4 where he wanted too, because 4 sat a little too far off where the window was.
@ace_degen67@gunthriftstore@barstoolsports Legion Hoops, which is tagged in this video, credited the original video’s TikTok and it is quite literally a man that runs an eBay shop of signed and unsigned cards. I used to work closely with NBA athletes and these types of “fans” are annoying. Also very easy to spot.
@BrendanRMarks Oh, man. This is so sad to hear. Jon was an incredible individual. He was always great to work with. A consummate professional and one of those guys that everyone around the track spoke highly of.
