Be different on purpose. ✨
In a world that pulls us to conform, God calls us to be transformed—living as light in dark places and walking with courage, conviction, and grace.

My favourite part of Steve Jobs iPhone launch in 2007 is 4 minutes he spends counterpositioning iPhone to Blackberry.
Masterclass:
▫️pulls up greatest 2x2 market map ever (smart vs. not so smart, hard vs. easy to use)
▫️takes a swig of water
▫️rips into the Blackberry keyboard for being static (“there when you don’t even need it”)
▫️unveils touch gesture on iPhone (no stylus, just fingers)
▫️caps if off by saying “and boy have we patented it” (the Apple nerds lose their minds)
Someone once pointed me to the montessori definition of 'work' and I feel like that's become my default understanding of the word.
'Work' isn't just paid work, but purposeful activity to develop your personality and potential.
This study is being massively misinterpreted.
College students who wrote an essay with LLM help engaged less with the essay & thus were less engaged when (a total of 9 people) were asked to do similar work weeks later.
LLMs do not rot your brain. Being lazy & not learning does.
YANKEE DOODLE DANDY, the musical biography of patriotic song-and-dance man George M. Cohan, was the favorite film of its star, James Cagney. Cagney won the Best Actor Oscar for his performance.
1776 was the brainchild of teacher Sherman Edwards, who wanted to make a musical about the creation of the Declaration of Independence.
Most of the original Broadway cast joined the film including William Daniels who calls the role of John Adams "the best of his career."
Franklin D. Roosevelt’s D-Day Prayer
On the night of June 6, 1944, President Roosevelt went on national radio to address the nation for the first time about the Normandy invasion. His speech took the form of a prayer.

The way we treat our young people matters. High control environments cause distress. They look peaceful, but in those silent corridors there are children giving way under the pressure. Even the ones for whom it seems like it ‘works’. We all need something better. 10/
