It's really sad because if we had elected a normal president, the 250th anniversary of our country would have been a really cool celebration of everything that makes this country great.
Instead, we get one miserable, unpopular asshole inserting himself into every little thing and making it about himself.
And it was entirely predictable if you had a pulse the past 10 years. Oh well...
Tim Dillon just declared that MAGA is “the greatest scam in history.”
“To run as America First, and then turn around and go … we’re here to have a defense budget of $1.5 trillion.”
“And we’re here to fight wars.”
“It makes Enron look like a guy doing three-card monte on the street.”
“This is the greatest about-face in political history that I have ever seen.”
“JD Vance, when he came on my show he said, we want to stay out of Middle Eastern wars.”
“If you had said to me, is this guy going to launch a preemptive war in Iran, I would’ve said no.”
@TimJDillon
Joe Rogan: “I’m confused. I can’t believe we went to this war. When we started bombing Iran I was like this can’t be true… Supposedly, they’re trying to stop the terrorists”
Theo Von: “That’s crazy though if you’re the fucking terrorists! If you wanna stop them stand in front of the fucking mirror”
This is incredible!
Before the war:
- US military bases all over Middle East
- Strait of Hormuz open to everyone
- US military deterrence intact
After the war:
- most US military bases destroyed and never coming back
- Strait under Iran's control to collect tolls (consider it reparations for decades of illegitimate sanctions)
- US military deterrence lol lmao even

BREAKING: Just five minutes before Trump's announcement to halt the attacks on Iran, massive trades reportedly hit the market.
In one move, $1.5 billion in S&P 500 (ES) futures was bought while $192 million in oil (CL) futures was sold.
These orders were 4–6x larger than anything else at the time.
The trader seemingly made huge gains.
Unusual.
Hegseth is in so far over his head he can't see daylight. This is a mediocre guy whose claim to fame was accidentally hitting someone with an axe on TV, and now he has to sell a war to an exhausted country that nobody can justify. He's scared, angry, and lashing out because he can't hide.
Once again, Iran had never closed the strait before and never would have if the US and Israel had not attacked it, so what you're saying is that the war is justified because it's the only way to prevent something that would never have happened if it hadn't been started is completely idiotic.
The fact that people can use such obviously circular logic without fear of ridicule speaks volumes about how completely broken the public discourse is on this topic due to nonstop propaganda. We're supposed to believe that, because the regime is "terroristic", "genocidal" and other meaningless epithets people apply to it, it's totally incapable of even minimal instrumental rationality.
