I wonder what fool hardy thinking was there to rename Vistara to Air India instead of the other way round. Air India continues to live up to its dismal records as can be seen by recent flight situations from Phuket and from Paris.

The travails of the switch over from Vistara to Air India continue. Flight AI2617 from Del to Dun shows 12:50 pm boarding. The check in staff shows up at 1:15pm. No Priority Board nothing. Boarding starts 25 mins later than sched. AI has changed Vis bynd rcgntn.

@airindia Inspite of being a Platinum member of Vistara and now of Maharaja Club my boarding pass is showing me as a base category passenger (red). Why is that? The PNR in question is M2ZSK6. You need to have a dedicated phone line for your Platinum and other loyalty members.

Vistara was lightening quick when calling customer support. Unfortunately Air India as expected is terrible. No one answers the call. Holding for 20 minutes. We all knew that Air India would be a nightmare. That nightmare has come true.

JioFiber has the worst service in the country. They keep on sending notifications about technicians visiting but no one ever comes and then you get a message that the problem is resolved. It’s been 3 weeks and no resolution in sight.

The worst in terms of wine and liquor selection is one hotel which I won’t name but it’s unfortunate that the bureaucracy in that hotel is so bad that they don’t care about their guests and hospitality and but more about the bureaucratic setup.

It’s irritating when I put Dehra Dun as Dehra Dun in an app it says the place doesn’t exist unless I put it as Dehradun. I don’t know when v lost the identity of the town known as Dehra Dun to Dehradun. It maybe semantics but it’s imp that Dehra Dun is identified as Dehra Dun.

The Dehradun administration not to allow 4 wheelers on the road is absolutely impractical and absurd. As an individual it’s safer being in a car. How does one but groceries if one does not own a 2 wheeler? There can be a single person in a car rule.

I guess they just extended the terminology.
