The weekend is here, and there are now 7⃣9⃣ days until the Broncos play at Kansas City in the season opener. In a 1998 AFC Divisional Playoff game route of the Miami Dolphins, @NeilSmith_NFL labored 79 yards to take a recovered fumble all way to the end zone.
Happy Birthday to No. 7⃣9⃣ Jumpy Geathers! At 6'7" and 290 pounds, Geathers was a forceful defensive lineman, famous for his "forklift" move, where he picked up a blocker and carried him backward. Unfortunately, he ruptured his Achilles in 1997, which ended his 13-season career.

TGIF and 8⃣0⃣ days until Denver Broncos regular season football! There have been a number of great 80-yard plays in team history, including in a Super Bowl and AFCCG, but the play that we're showing today is one of the best in NFL history—the @TimTebow to DT walk-off game winner.
You made it through the 8⃣3⃣rd day until the Denver Broncos' regular season opener at Kansas City, so let's reward you with 83-yard punt returns for touchdowns by @OmarBolden (Nov. 8, 2015 at Indianapolis) and @DSpencer4_ (Dec. 13, 2020 at Carolina).

Happy Birthday to @mikesherrard88! Sherrard played WR for 11 NFL seasons, and his final one with the Denver Broncos in 1996. As shown here, he had a spectacular touchdown reception in a Week 9 win against the Chiefs at Mile High Stadium that year on a picturesque autumn Sunday.

8⃣5⃣ days to go until the Broncos travel to Kansas City for their season opener, and we have two 85-yard plays to share from 2004 and 2011—a @snakestakes bootleg TD pass to @TheREALrodSmith in a snowstorm and an electric punt return touchdown at the Black Hole by @EddieRoyalWR.
Happy 7⃣9⃣th Birthday to @sonofbum! Wade Phillips was the Denver Broncos' defensive coordinator from 1989–1992 and then head coach in 1993 and 1994. Phillips returned to Denver as DC in 2015, where he coached an all-time great defense and ended up as a Super Bowl 50 champion.
Happy Birthday to No. 9⃣5⃣ @DarrellReid! Reid was an OLB for the Denver Broncos in 2009. Whether on special teams or rushing the quarterback, he played all-out and was always ready to wallop as shown in these clips. With the Broncos, Reid had 4 sacks, 2 FFs, and 2 FRs.
The weekend is here and there are now 8⃣6⃣ days until the Broncos play at Kansas City in the season opener. On Oct. 5, 2014, Peyton Manning connected with the late, great Demaryius Thomas for an 86-yard touchdown, and one-play drive, before the Mile High crowd.
No. 5⃣1⃣/5⃣4⃣ Wahoo McDaniel, a Denver Bronco MLB from 1961–1963, was BOTD in 1938. As a Bronco, McDaniel played in 42 games, with 40 starts. He totaled 5.5 sacks (unofficial). McDaniel was also a pro wrestler. In 2002, McDaniel passed away at the age of 63. RIP
TGIF and 8⃣7⃣ days until Denver at Kansas City in Week 1. In one of the wildest plays in team—and NFL—history, @bstokley14 caught a deflected Kyle Orton pass and raced 87 yards to give the Broncos a 12–7 lead—and win—over the Bengals at Cincinnati in the 2009 season opener.
