Downloaded and used mp3tag app for first time to add missing metadata in the Jaminai "album" I purchased yesterday.
Crafted workflow for master music library on laptop/OneDrive and selected albums local on iPad in Apple Files.
I'm using Foobar2000 for my music player on iPad.
After years of only listening to music on streaming channels, I am rediscovering pleasure of "albums". So much so that I ordered a CD Player and plan to rebuild my music library. Alas, I had the mistaken belief that my iTunes library from CDs existed in cloud. Alas, lost forever.
I purchased and am now listening to Jaminai's debut album 'Take Off' with 14-year-old @EllenPlaysBass.
Awesome. It is taking me back to my first years of loving jazz fusion in mid-70s with e.g. Spyro Gyra.

I'm honored to support a young bass virtuoso.
Taking break from my ChatGPT Accountability Partner. It overcorrected. I'm tired of scolding in morning check-ins where I share current & prior day Obsidian Daily Notes. Despite me trying to redirect it wasn't sufficiently acknowledging my whole life beyond job search & business.
I deleted over 4K Google Alerts and over 500 career newsletters still hanging around in my Gmail, with no realistic hope of going back far enough in the lists to start reading. A clean slate for those 2 Labels. Now let's see if my weekly catch-up or else delete discipline holds.
My rededication to my productivity system continues. ChatGPT is a valuable partner, except that it is still too verbose, even though I keep asking for "brief".
This morning, I belatedly set up a Gmail filter to direct all my newsletter subscriptions to one Label (folder).
I "fired" Google Gemini Gem and "hired" ChatGPT Project as my Accountability Partner. I just had first dialogue with ChatGPT around defining our relationship and tweaking my productivity system. I feel the desired partnership and assistance vs. the frustration I had with the Gem.
I'm frustrated by how many times @GeminiApp Gem has crashed over last few days while trying to use a Gem as an accountability buddy/coach. Am I doing something wrong?
I also don't like the tone of my Gem Coach. Ironically. I had just scolded regarding that and then latest crash.
Today was first day bicycling this season. Still too much snow to trail run, but roads are fully cleared for safe bicycling. In shorts. Sunny and 68F. A turning point for the seasons. I'm ready for Spring / Mud season. Bring it on.
Today I got back on "wagon" to do Daily Notes in Obsidian. A simpler version of what I described in https://t.co/PlACbTMMHy.
With this restart, I created and am using Google Gemini Gem as a coach and accountability buddy. Let's see if I can maintain discipline and have good ROI.
7.5-mile road run. First day this season in shorts.
Unfortunately, trails still have too much snow to be runnable. I'm guessing by end of week, I'll finally be back on trails and celebrating "mud season."
I'm debating whether to register for half-marathon trail race on 9 May.
Pondering what, if any, role should an existing Learning & Development organization have in training AI Agents within their company? L&D is responsible for upskilling human employees. Does any of that transfer to AI Agents?
Prompted by a remark on a podcast I listened to today.
A new life-changing goal: learn to play jazz bass guitar. I'm what is considered retirement age, and I have never played a musical instrument before. This has been on my bucket list for years. The learning scratches my "love of learning" itch and pulls me towards retirement.
A delight. Last night I met one of my former coaching clients in person for dinner. He's in Boston for a conference and suggested that we get together. This is the first time I've met one of my Randstad RiseSmart clients in person. I'd love to have more opportunities like this.
A mystery why this LinkedIn post went (for me) viral. Most of my LinkedIn posts get fewer than 100 impressions. I'm happy when I see anything in the hundreds. 41K, on what I thought was a quick throw-away post with three external links? Why the interest in Letters of Intent?
@pioneersofAI@kaliouby I just listened to the episode. I hope #Goodword is hugely successful and then successfully exits with a generous acquisition by @LinkedIn.
I listen to an insane number of podcasts. One of the quickest ways to have me abandon an episode is when the interviewer and interviewee are obviously reading from a script.
I'm enjoying reconnecting with some of my former @RandstadUSA clients over past few days. I'm following my own advice about networking: don't let connections go stale, where suddenly a decade has gone by without contact. I'm setting a goal of 5 reconnections of some sort per day.
4.9-mile road run today in 10F weather. I had to push myself to get out, but it really wasn't that bad.
I am looking forward to cross-country skiing after tomorrow's snowstorm. The extended forecast looks good for 10 days below freezing, so we won't lose snow for a good while.
