In which democracy in the world no one cares Leader of Opposition is out of country to undisclosed location for nearly a month now? Neither Govt nor media nor even public are concerned. He's a probable PM candidate. May become PM once in his lifetime. Do we care what dope foreign inimical powers might have on him?
🚨Last night, India switched on a reactor.
Here are 9 numbers nobody is talking about:
→ 72 years: Time since Homi Bhabha conceived this plan
→ 22 years: Time to actually build it
→ ₹7,700 crore: Final cost (started at ₹3,492 crore)
→ 500 MW: Power it will generate
→ 2nd: India's global rank only Russia had this before
→ 25%: India's share of world's thorium reserves
→ 400 years: How long those reserves can power India
→ 200+: Indian companies that built it. Zero foreign designs.
→ 3: Countries that tried and quit - USA, Germany, UK
🧵 A thread that will blow your mind:
yesterday I visited the Harish-Chandra Research Institute in Prayagraj for some work. While I was there, someone casually mentioned the name Ashoke Sen
I had never heard of him before.
But the more I asked, the more I was stunned.
So I researched everything about him
here is what I found 👇
> he is a Indian Theoretical Physicist & String Theory Pioneer
> born in a middle-class family in Kolkata
> No elite background. No connections. Just pure brilliance
> studied at Presidency College, Kolkata
> moved to IIT Kanpur, then Stony Brook University, USA
> spent years on problems most physicists considered unsolvable
> colleagues doubted the relevance of String Theory
> governments didn't fund it. Industries ignored it still he didn't quit
> In 1994 he proposed S-duality a breakthrough that shook the world of physics
> changed how scientists understood the universe at its deepest level
> opened the door to the String Theory Revolution
> cracked the mystery of Black Hole Entropy using String Theory
> did what even Einstein couldn't fully do
> the world finally noticed
> In 2012, awarded the inaugural Fundamental Physics Prize 3 times bigger than Nobel Prize
> $3 Million (₹35–36 crore) the largest individual prize in science at the time
> chosen among the greatest minds on Earth
> never left India permanently. Chose to work from first Allahabad now Bangalore
> proved that world-changing science doesn't require Silicon Valley or Harvard
> became India's greatest living theoretical physicist
said "The best discoveries come not from chasing prizes, but from chasing truth."
Survival Guide for the moneyless and connectionless GC from a wellwisher:
Please do not expect the State to safeguard your interests with policies or laws.
India is a democracy, and therefore the odds will always be stacked against you. The math won't math for any party to pickup your interests as an agenda item. Nobody is coming to save you. Not the leaders, not the activists and definitely not the social media influencers.
The first step is to get real, to accept that you are on your own. This is not bad news. Realizing this means you take responsibility for moving up the economic ladder. Between your internal drive and the blessings of Gods, Gurus and ancestors, you have enough help already.
Next step is to build competence. Upskill yourself in a field interests you - finance, sales, technology, law, business (Not journalism or arts or humanities - these are rigged fields and takes eons to grow without connections). Your ancestors survived a socialist India, luckily for you, we are a free market economy and the market values competence.
The election market may not value your vote, but the economic market SHALL ALWAYS value your competence (Private enterprises, not Public). Do not delude yourself with the socialist attitude of pursuing a government job. It is 10x harder for you, and not worth the effort.
Important attitude as you pursue upskilling: Be like Arjuna with focus only on the bird's eye that is your family, ignoring the rest of the world. This is not selfish. Everyone is out there for themselves. Your job is to elevate your family, not to fix the world.
Leave campus activism and political debates to those with the safety nets to afford the distraction. Do not feel guilty about not taking part in activism. You are answerable only to those who sign your paychecks, and God, nobody else.
Do not argue with classmates or colleagues about the unfairness or your struggles or what you think to be the truth is. Learn to be strategically silent. Keep your political, social, and religious views out of the workplace and off public social media. Know that they can and will be weaponized against you. Silence is a friend who will never betray you.
Do not worry about not having connections. When you become exceptionally good at something economically valuable, the universe will open doors for you. Unknown allies will come to your aid. You just focus on becoming so good that the world cannot ignore you.
The system doesn't give you a fair start, but it cannot stop you from having a strong finish. Move in silence, work with intensity, and let your success be your only statement. Vijayee Bhava.
Surprisingly, this tweet didn't get much attention. The capacity is 35-40 per cent of India's crude consumption in one day, but more importantly, will save quite a lot in logistics (time and cost). For all the hate against Adani, these developments aren't celebrated enough.
2007 : Rajdeep Sardesai airs a program on CNN IBN claiming Sohrabuddin encounter was fake
2008 : Rajdeep is awarded Padmashree by Sonia Gandhi
2010 : Amit Shah arrested in Sohrabuddin case and spends 3 months in jail. He is acquitted in 2014 as it's a fake case.
2018 : Courts declare Sohrabuddin case false. Everyone is acquitted. Many had careers ruined and spent years in jail.
2020 : Rajdeep and 10 other "journalists" apologise in court for fake reporting in 2007.
2025 : Rajdeep is tweeting about misuse of agencies to settle political scores. Calls others Godi media. His wife has joined a party of goons. He says election commissioner to ICC everyone works for Modi. Meanwhile he is still apologizing for his other fake reporting.
Your short memory is the only reason such ghouls exist.

Year 2017, a neighbour in Ferozepur kept a maid.
Things were fine initially. A few months later, he started noticing things missing from his house one after another. So he installed a CCTV without telling the maid. She was caught stealing an All Out refill. He told her to take her month’s salary and leave.
He then reported the matter to the housing society so the woman could be blacklisted. That’s when the issue blew up. The woman complained to the police that she faced casteist slurs and physical violence. That’s when he discovered she was a Dalit, his family had no idea before. He showed the CCTV footage to police, tried to stand his ground, but ultimately had to compromise. The Atrocities Act was too much of a hassle for his mental peace. He paid ₹50,000 to settle and avoid an FIR.
This is caste weaponization, it’s mainstream now. Even when disputes with a Dalit person have nothing to do with caste, some people highlight only that angle to make things look worse than they are.
Take the CJI case. The shoe incident happened because the CJI made derogatory remarks, not because he is a Dalit. It would’ve happened even if he were upper caste. Yet the entire point being made is about his caste.
Or the Raebareli case: a man was lynched because villagers mistook him for a thief, not because he was a Dalit. Even some of the accused are Dalits themselves, yet the headlines read “Dalit man lynched”, as if upper-caste people killed him for his caste.
This constant weaponization only deepens old divide. With every false caste angle spun for outrage, the social fault lines grow wider, and the idea of true unity drifts even farther away.
Cutting taxes to stimulate domestic demand, and encouraging investment in domestic production so the increased domestic demand creates employment - exactly the right mix. We could afford this mix precisely because our government has been generally prudent.
We will show them what a "dead economy" looks like.
The Left Brain has ruled the world for the past 3 centuries:
- Logic
- Systems
- Efficiency
But now...the Left Brain has been beaten, at its own game, by AI. What's next?
A visual thread:
If you are a student , its in ur interest to read this 👇🏻
In a bold shift from tech’s usual advice, @elonmusk and @nvidia CEO Jensen Huang are urging students to focus less on coding and more on physics and mathematics.
In the age of #ArtificialIntelligence, they argue that deep understanding of the world’s core principles will matter more than ever.
As #AI tools become more capable of writing and debugging code, the value of basic programming skills is decreasing. But what cannot be automated is strong conceptual thinking, creative problem-solving, and the scientific mindset that powers innovation. That starts with mastering equations, energy, forces, and logic.
Both Musk and Huang believe that the next wave of breakthroughs will not come from better coders, but from thinkers who understand how reality operates. Whether it’s building rockets, designing chips, or creating smarter AI, the edge will go to those grounded in science and reasoning.
Their message to students and future innovators is clear. Don’t just learn how to talk to machines. Learn how the universe works so you can teach the machines something truly new.
In a future driven by algorithms and AI, it is your understanding of the fundamentals that will set you apart.💪🏻

Investigation of AI 171 crash is happening in India. The Air Current is a foreign publication which is quoting unnamed sources to report a story of "movement of fuel control switches."
This is being carried all over international media seemingly questioning the pilots and with racist comments underneath to amplify it as "Indian pilots error."
NDTV is an Indian news site. But NDTV doesn't have any sources from GoI or investigating agencies to say anything on its own.
NDTV is reporting what Air Current is reporting amplifying a foreign portal's report from India quoting unnamed sources before the report is out.
Why?
Because it seems "Air Current is well-regarded aviation journal" as per NDTV. Who told you it is well-regarded? Foreigners and aviation experts say so. Ok. But you know the world's aviation is controlled by the Boeings and Airbuses?
There's nothing called "free and fair", "well-regarded" reporting in this world. From medical journals to media, everything is run by the powerful companies and countries.
If I say now that the Indian media is pathetic, they won't like it.
Indian media instead must be questioning how Air Current is getting to know the investigation angles before India has released the report and Indian media got hold of any insider info.
Indian media must question the credibility of such journals and magazines who publish speculative reports based on sources which Indian media doesn't have access to within India.
Indian media must be working hard to ensure Indian pilots, Indian aviation industry, Indians aren't targeted and fight back against the racism and
Instead, the Indian media is amplifying what foreigners want you to hear. The report may well be true. But the world isn't a fair place. So India needs to have its own narrative and counter narratives.
And the Indian media must help in this. Not parrot what some white Youtuber in an aviation suit says or some "whites said it is well regarded" journal says.
If you do not fight for your country and your people, acting like "I am only publishing what is said by a 'well regarded journal'" the world will keep you forever enslaved in their narrative.
‘35 billion euros via SMS!’—French MEP drops bombshell in EU Parliament, accusing Ursula von der Leyen over secret Pfizer vaccine deal.
No tenders! No transparency! Just texts & Pfizer was IMPOSED all over EU.
Remember ONE Indian politician pressuring #Modi Ji to get Pfizer vaccine during Covid? SMS deal here too? Btw, who's HE?
If @Nike ignores our sentiments, I will stop buying Nike until they apologize and drop her. If Adidas can drop Kanye West for antisemitism, Nike can do the same. We need a collective voice like the Jewish community. #BoycottNikeIndia#BoycottNike
Indian companies spend less than Taiwan in R&D. This is pathetic. No amount of tax rebates by govt is going to change this. Behavioral Economics rules over Economics. The only way to change this is to ensure they are FORCED by the Govt to innovate and compete like China did.
