Readwise Reader is an excellent product and I'm consistently impressed by the output of their tiny non-VC backed remote team. It's a better, modern version of Pocket, Instapaper, Feedly, etc. with a highlighter that helps you retain what you read with spaced repetition.

This really impressed me. I hit a random bug trying to save an ePub to my @ReadwiseReader vault on mobile while at the gym and they emailed me before I got home saying they saw the bug in the logs and fixed it.

@pitdesi @freeshreeda Ashwagandha lowers cortisol so it should help with the anxiety.

There seem to be studies that it helps with muscle building but those were done in men and I would guess that’s because cortisol suppresses testosterone.

The Trader Joe’s in Hayes Valley finally opened today with a massive crowd for the ribbon cutting ceremony. The excitement was palpable. But why do people love Trader Joe’s so much?

They pay their employees well. Joe Coulombe decided early on that “turnover is the most expensive form of labor expense” and there were more cost savings to be made on managing COGS. It shows. I always enjoy the one-minute chat with my Trader Joe's cashier.

@rakeshlobster @pitdesi I recently happened to drive by a couple of food trucks in a parking lot near Madras Cafe in Sunnyvale. One of them was frying fresh jalebi and even made me some with less sugar syrup. YMMV but good indian food happens in south bay.
