@EddyFurniss TY. NCAA had 4 yrs to implement this 5/5 rule (they’ve talked about it for yrs) If so the 21 class would get 5 yrs & everything flows without roster disruption as all have 5 yr rule. taking 6 yrs they exclude 21 class &have the mess with the 22s. This is all the NCAAs poor mgmt

@SethDavisHoops Vandy had 10 Q1 wins. Only 4 team had more. The four 1 seeds. Two other teams had 10. Purdue and Houston. Every Metric you can find vandy was top 15 or top 12. resume metrics they were top 10. VUs 2 worse resume losses Miles was a DNP. Media folks should do their homework

@theblakelovell Vandy. Now 13th Net ranking and 9th!! WAB. 12th in KenPom. Offensive efficiency up to 6th nationally. 10 Q1 wins tied with Houston and Purdue. Only teams with more: Duke, MI, AZ and FL

@T3Bracketology @PortlandMBB Why is anyone surprised. Zags been close to poor loss all conf season. Barely won @San Diego, miracle comeback at home vs Seattle just to get it to OT, won by 2 at home vs SF, Zero wins vs a top 25 team only game they’ve had vs a current one was a 40 pnt loss.

@theblakelovell VCU now 50th in NET giving VU their 5th Q1 win. That can always change of course. Of note UCF (30) , St Mary’s (25) and SMU ( 23) are all top 30 NET wins. Bama Wednesday night huge not only SEC but national game. Too bad Vandy wont be fully healthy.

@theblakelovell I keep waiting for comparison Vandy to 17/18 Villanova team that won championship. Not saying VUs that good but playing styles very similar. Can Tanner be close to Brunson a key,JB was so experienced but Vandys roster lots of experience like that Nova team and similar makeup

@GaryParrishCBS @CBSSports Vandy only team in top 40 of NET with 3 true road wins. Up to 7th in KenPom just under a 30 rating. Just won by 31 at WF who lost to Mich and TXTech by 1. Will be 6-0 in top 2 quads. What more can they do to move up in your rankings? How is their resume not top 10?

@GaryParrishCBS @CBSSports I know you will want to talk about Arkansas but really words on Vandy. 9-0, 7th in KenPom and just easily handled another solid team. Is there any team in the country that has given more teams their only loss than VU (SMU, neutral vs St Mary’s and @UCF). Avg margin 19 pnts

@Cory_Mose TX A&M beat the ND team by 1 at ND the 1st game That’s basically getting AM a bid As said is ND good who knows
A&M SEC slate. Played TX who is arguably #7 and lost. Didn’t play 1-6. Didn’t play TN who’s probably 8 (TN had both GA and OK beat). So all wins came vs 9-16

@Cory_Mose If Texas could only play at home I’d agree with folks but they were a bad road team. Vandy was a missed FG or recover onside kick they had 2 hands in to go to OT vs TX. TX got playoff teams at home. Vandy did not. Schedule is really dictating the playoffs teams.

@Cory_Mose TX got all 3 of those at home. Vandy only lost by 3. On neutral field or at VU , VU dominate win at TN since on road better than any TX win. Common opponent VU blew out KY (got up 45-3) TX won by 3. TX miracle OT over MS St. TX only SEC team in top 9!To lose to bottom 7 team.

Wins all vs 9-16,should have lost to SC at home & snuck by AR & avoids SEC champ game. So 1 pnt win vs unproven ND in 1st game gets A&M playoffs w/nothing else in their resume

@05cokekickoff @CFBPlayoff VU didn’t get home chance. ND got AM at home lost and lost to Miami. ND best and really only good win home vs USC. USC only “good” win home vs MI. MI no good wins and 3 losses all by double digits. So is USC even good. MI appears not to be.

@05cokekickoff @CFBPlayoff Need deeper dive. If VU is a top 10 team then TN 4 losses were to top 10 tms. Had GA beat but missed FG. Had OK beat outgained them by 100+yards but turnovers. VU kicked TN butt at UT especially compared to GA and OK Lost 2 close road games

@Worththefight47 @slmandel Conf don’t play same schedules so that doesn’t work either. A&M avoided the top 6 teams. They played the 7th best team , TX, and loss. Avoided the 8th best team TN. All wins came against 9th - 16th teams in the SEC ( and barely won several)so is AM 3rd or 8th?

@ClayTravis Why are folks not scrutinizing A&M more. They played none of the top 6 teams in the SEC , they lost to the 7th, also didn’t play TN who’s probably 8th. So all their wins came vs 9 or worse. 1 point win over ND and you don’t have ND in. A&M is a fraud and shouldn’t be in.
