I just spoke with President Trump @POTUS. An important conversation, and we got through a lot. We agreed to meet in New York, and this meeting could change a lot. There is diplomatic momentum.

I thanked the President for Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner’s visit to Kyiv. We went through the key details thoroughly, and they saw the situation in Ukraine firsthand. The peace track is our number one priority.

There are ideas for de-escalation steps and for addressing fundamental security issues – energy security, food security, and the protection of human life. We are working together with the American team and are ready to take really serious steps.

I thanked the American President for signing the Lindsey Graham bill into law. We all concur – there must be peace. Thank you to everyone who stands with Ukraine! Thank you to everyone who’s helping!

Hi Neena, I once considered myself part of the “pro-Palestine” movement when I was a student. Then I went there.

What changed my mind wasn’t propaganda from Israel. It was seeing a reality that much Western activism simply edits out.

Hamas and other militias are not an imaginary enemy and Gaza was not defenceless. Hamas and other armed groups built an enormous military infrastructure, embedded much of it within a densely populated civilian environment, and fired thousands of rockets at Israeli communities.

None of that makes Palestinian civilian suffering less real. It makes the story more complicated than “powerful Israel attacks helpless Gaza.”

And words matter. War does not mean “two armies fighting.” International humanitarian law expressly recognises armed conflicts between states and organised non state armed groups. Hamas does not cease to be a belligerent because it doesn’t wear the uniform of a sovereign state.

I’ve worked alongside foreign militaries. One thing consistently missing from this conversation is the extraordinary operational difficulty of fighting an enemy embedded within a civilian population. The IDF is not beyond criticism, no military is, but measures such as warnings, evacuation orders and other precautions to reduce civilian harm are real. So too is Hamas’s documented use of civilian areas and infrastructure for military purposes.

Then came 07/10. Hamas and other armed groups, including civilians deliberately crossed into Israel, massacred civilians, committed sexual violence and other atrocities, and abducted people. Hamas knew perfectly well that Israel would respond militarily.

That does not mean every subsequent Israeli action is automatically justified. It means you cannot honestly analyse this war while deleting the event that precipitated it, the armed organisation Israel is fighting, or the way that organisation fights.

Palestinian children deserve infinitely more than being raised inside another generation of this conflict. They deserve education rather than indoctrination, leaders who value their future more than martyrdom, and a political culture capable of accepting that Israel is not going to disappear.

Israel isn’t perfect. Neither is our country. Criticise its government, its policies and its military decisions where criticism is warranted.

But Israel is not the cartoon villain this movement needs it to be, and Palestinians are not helped by pretending Hamas has no agency.

Peace requires two peoples accepting that the other is staying. Anything else is just preparing the next generation for another war.

A fresh poll:

77% of Ukrainians living in Ukraine believe the country should continue its armed resistance even if, because of Russian attacks on critical infrastructure, some people have to live without electricity, heating, or sewage services for a period of time.

Only 12% believe Ukraine should agree to any Russian demands (even accept defeat in the war) to avoid this; 11% are undecided.

What is notable is that an absolute majority in every surveyed region supports continuing the fight despite these hardships: 77% in the west, 83% in Kyiv, 79% in the center and north, 76% in the south, 75% in the lower Dnipro region (Zaporizhia?), and 68% in the east.

Among those who do not trust Zelenskyy as a leader, 65% also support continuing the fight, while 20% favor accepting all Russian conditions. Among Zelenskyy’s supporters, 89% support continued resistance, and only 5% oppose it.

Also noteworthy: 85% of respondents who are servicemembers or veterans support continuing resistance despite attacks on essential infrastructure. The figure is 77% among civilians who have not served in the military.

Russian drone attacks continue throughout the day today, and “shaheds” are still in the sky right now. Nearly 500 attack drones have already been launched since morning. Essentially, the Russians have expanded this war from the front lines, where they cannot achieve success, into the economy, and their tactics are as primitive as they get – destroying every facility that can help people withstand the conditions of war.

The Russians are burning warehouses with food and gas stations, pharmaceutical facilities and ordinary passenger trains, residential buildings and civilian businesses… Just in the past few days, they have struck a steel plant owned by an Indian business, an American company that produced sunflower oil, and a Polish company that manufactured plumbing fixtures. Russian attacks have targeted truck parking lots, ports, shopping malls, and energy infrastructure.

Russia wants to kill the Ukrainian economy and, through that, break our resistance. And it is important that these Russian strikes be met not only with justified responses, but also with the necessary moral and political condemnation from our partners. (1/3)

Rescue operations are now underway in various regions of our country following Russian drone strikes. In Sumy, a Russian drone struck near a shopping mall. So far, two people are known to have been killed and fourteen others wounded. A brutal strike on a nine-story apartment building in Kyiv killed one person and injured seven, including two children. The Russians carried out large-scale attacks on Mykolaiv overnight and throughout the morning. Tragically, two people were killed and seven others wounded. My condolences to the families and loved ones of those killed.

Right now, it is important for all partners to focus as much as possible and work on the relevant steps toward de-escalation and an end to the killing. We discussed this both with the U.S. President’s team and with European representatives. If this Russian war continues, all the terrorist attacks and terrorist tactics that Russia is testing in Ukraine – and against which we are seeking and building defenses – could become tools for exerting the same kind of pressure on other countries as well. This is not just about one country. Terror is always a threat to many, and we must counter it together. Thank you to everyone who is truly helping protect lives!

I hate that I have to do this, it’s my least favorite part about my life. I knew my life would get even more dangerous when I announced I am suing California and began accepting invitations to speak on college campuses this semester.

I need to raise money again for security. Doing the right thing and exposing evil now puts your life in danger in today’s society. For example, a UC Irvine “lecturer” (teacher) is insinuating it would be funny to assassinate me and leftist are threatening to kill me constantly.

I will not cower to the radicals or the far left who threaten and plot to kill and destroy our country, yet the $30k–$50k a month it costs me just to stay safe doing my job is unsustainable. I make enough for my needs and my employees, but this added expense produces no return and is unsustainable on my own.

An update on FSD Supervised in Europe

FSD is currently approved in five EU countries (NL, DK, BE, EE, LT), used by >70k customers for over 1 million km per day, and is 4.1x less likely to get into a crash compared to manual driving, measured across 100 million km on public EU roads.

Leading up to a potential EU-wide approval vote for FSD Supervised on October 6th, 2026, we have decided to open-source one of the key pieces of evidence used to support the Netherlands approval.

As a reminder, we adjusted the FSD design to be compliant with existing regulation (UN-R-171 DCAS) but requested an exemption for certain behaviors via the EU Article 39 procedure. The following dashboard is evidence of safety for those exemptions.

37 morts dans la région de Kyiv. 72 heures d’attaques non-stop contre Kyiv. Une fille de 2 ans tuée dans un parc en pleine journée.

La Russie est entrée dans une logique de destruction totale de la vie en Ukraine.

Mes amis, ma famille n’ont jamais eu aussi peur qu’en ce moment, depuis le début de l’invasion à grande échelle de l’Ukraine. De nombreux civils s’interrogent et pensent désormais à quitter le pays pour se protéger.

Selon le gouvernement ukrainien, la Russie a détruit, au cours de cet été, 90 % des entrepôts modernes des supermarchés. Certaines entreprises craignent des pénuries importantes. Les prix de certains produits pourraient drastiquement augmenter.

Des dizaines d’usines, de centres logistiques annihilés.

Des millions de livres détruits par la Russie. Hier encore, une imprimerie a été attaquée : plus de 60 000 livres ont brûlé.

La Russie a anéanti tous les hypermarchés « Epicenter », l’équivalent ukrainien de Leroy Merlin, à Zaporijjia et à Odessa. Elle en a détruit plusieurs autres dans les régions de Kyiv, de Dnipro et ailleurs. Depuis 2022, une trentaine ont été détruits ou endommagés.

La Russie a détruit le centre commercial « Halereya » à Kryvyi Rih le 21 août. 16 personnes ont été tuées, 130 autres blessées.

Une semaine plus tard : un autre centre commercial. Cette fois-ci à Kharkiv, le « Karavan ». Une personne a été tuée.

Début juillet et hier, la Russie a attaqué des dépôts de munitions dans la région de Kyiv. En juillet : 9 morts, des dizaines de blessés, des rues entièrement réduites en cendres. Hier : 37 morts, des centaines de civils évacués. La plupart des victimes étaient des retraités et des personnes handicapées, tués dans un EHPAD local. L’une des pires attaques contre les civils cette année.

Le gouvernement ukrainien a promis de sanctionner les responsables de cette faille de sécurité dans un quartier résidentiel. C’est la deuxième fois que cela arrive en deux mois et, malgré les promesses, les leçons n’ont pas été tirées.

Le gouverneur de la région de Kherson a appelé la population à évacuer en raison de la destruction de toutes les infrastructures énergétiques de Kherson.

Depuis 72 heures, il y a des alertes toutes les deux heures à Kyiv, parfois toutes les heures, parfois toutes les demi-heures. Les drones à réaction touchent tout ce qu’ils peuvent : des restaurants, des stations-service, des quartiers résidentiels. Tout.

Et la liste continue. Et elle continuera à s’allonger.

L’Ukraine a besoin de moyens de défense EN URGENCE ABSOLUE ! La Russie est en train d’anéantir tout ce qu’elle peut, et le nombre de victimes civiles augmente mois après mois.

Parlez de l’Ukraine ! N’oubliez pas cette guerre !

Oui, cela fait 4,5 ans qu’elle dure à grande intensité, mais ce que vit le pays en ce moment est extrêmement difficile. Je n’ose imaginer l’hiver à venir.
