Not sure about a "long time," but I hope we can start contending next season. I don't think we are true contenders yet because at a minimum we should have reached the conference finals. #Pistons

Stacey King has passed away at 59 years old. A three-time NBA champion with the Chicago Bulls across eight NBA seasons after being the No. 6 pick in the 1989 draft, and a beloved broadcaster for the team in his post-playing career.
Smart teams understand that fit matters almost as much as talent. #DetroitBasketball doesn't need to win the offseason headline championship.
They need shooting, connective passing and defenders who amplify Cade Cunningham. That's the assignment as much as star hunting.
A fun Pistons offseason wrinkle is that the #Pistons have optionality.
Cap space. Exceptions. Trade assets. Young players.
That's a rare combination, as most teams are either good or flexible. #DetroitBasketball suddenly has a chance to be both.
You were crowned unanimous DPOY before the season started bro.
Struggling now that you actually have to guard a skilled center rather than roaming off bad shooters is not a good look.
Ausar was roaming off DESMOND BANE and averaging 5 stocks with league best iso dfg%. Try both.
The Knicks are connected in a way I have not seen in a team for some time. You can tell they trust, believe, and enjoy playing for each other. They also have a clear identity and understand the moment in front of them.
Also, who's better can change throughout the season and postseason. The Knicks are a fundamentally different team than they were at the start of the season. They also beat the Spurs at full strength during the NBA Cup.

Matchups are so fascinating in the NBA playoffs.
The Spurs were the better team all year by any measure. Way better in the regular season, beat way better teams in their conference playoff bracket.
Doesn’t matter. Knicks have the dudes to counter their strengths on both ends.
I get the sentiment, but I disagree. The Spurs have been fine with Wemby handling the ball all season, and it is one of the reasons the media rushes to crown him "this" and "that." That turnover was on Wemby, as he should have known better. In those moments, your best players have to be your best players.
