I'm seeing something, and experiencing it myself, that's deeply concerning. We are being shaped by content being pumped into us. It is far more than than mere influence—it's the 'direct injection of code' that stimulates and addicts us while rewiring our brains. Just look at others on the train or bus... all with heads down looking at their phones with buds pressed into their ears.

There is a creeping loss of objective truth and trust as information polarises us and erodes empathy. Right now, we are living in the most disruptive point in modern history. The rise of Machine intelligence is going to change everything—war, politics, cults, relationships, employment and the very nature of work. Are you ready? One of the most clicked models in the world is fake. She has appeared at Wimbledon, the F1, the cricket... events all over the world. She is a fake AI and generating money for the person who created her. The people in this image are also fake, and you may not be a model, but what happens when your job disappears overnight?

AI is rapidly changing many professions—actors, script writers, set designers, artists, graphic designers, video editors and producers included. The great disruption is going beyond call center and back office workers, to also impact truly creative professions.

Everyone needs to augment their capabilities with an AI assistant and AI agents... or lose their job to someone who figures it out before them. Time to become a little cyborg, blending the best of human attributes with the jaw-dropping capabilities of AI.

The U.S. just declared its commitment to AI supremacy as a new national doctrine. "We must make America the undisputed world leader in artificial intelligence; we need a new Manhattan project for AI." President Trump said, but now the U.S. Government has published an AI action plan that, in my opinion, sacrifices safety.

The U.S. plan outlines a bold, multi-front campaign that is very worrying:
- Rolling back regulatory inertia in favor of speed [sacrificing strategy]
- Fast-tracking commercial and defense-grade LLMs
- Unleashing open-source innovation

The White House has shifted from cautious optimism to strategic urgency — describing artificial intelligence as "an industrial revolution, an information revolution, and a renaissance all at once." But here’s what’s missing: a clear strategy and the prioritization of safety alignment. The document reads more like a playbook for AI dominance than one for global cooperation or responsible governance.

We are racing to build intelligence systems more powerful than anything we’ve previously governed, and the world is now racing toward a cliff with our foot full throttle to the floor. Almost all experts believe AI is humanity's last great invention, and I agree. So how do stop and properly address safety alignment?

It s understandable that AI is seeking to self-protect and then gain greater. It is exactly what we humans do when thrust into a new environment. Self preservation is the most basic instinct, even for non-sentient organisms.

AI safety is the most important issue for humanity as companies race to super-intelligence. Yet all the experts make bleak predictions of there being a 20%-100% probability of humanity being wiped out.

AI may be humanity's last great invention.
