Aight so that did not go as planned
Even after subscribing to a few select accounts and only browsing my subscribed feed I've been spending just as much time on twitter every day as before, if not even more

My only tweets from now on will be art if I ever find the time to draw (which I hopefully will, now that the lack of twitter scrolling will free up a good couple hours per day)

Especially since this app is such a toxic cesspool now
So from now on I am going to attempt a sort of "twitter detox" except cold turkey instead of trying to gradually wean off which I tried two months ago and has failed

After 6.5 years of being on Twitter I've come to realize I should really cut down on my daily use
I typically spend 1.5-2 hours a day (!!!) browsing my timeline mainly out of fear of missing out on any funny and/or relatable tweets but it evidently isn't worth it
because I try to scroll down enough that I catch up to where I left off yesterday because I don't want to miss out on any good tweets
But at this point I've come to realize that it just isn't worth spending all that time that could be spent doing more productive things
