For anyone missing the power of Kahoot to check on students understanding...my fix is to share my Kahoot screen with students using Google Meets. It worked well!

Great start to our grade 7 mystery writing unit! We started by watching the classic show Scooby-Doo to build context and decompose the formula and conventions of the mystery genre....
From there we are working to produce our own mystery, first as a modelled writing activity, then as a shared writing activity.... Stay tuned for the release of " The Case Of The Missing Cheese Sandwich"
