No more Smartphone or Social Media for Charles Gerber till 22.3.26. Ceremoniously handing over the device. Heβs counting down every 99 days. But the Australian π¦πΊ embargo commences for all these teens and will be adhered to. Proud of you Charlie!
Great to have done RDN Spyral case in Hawkeβs Bay NZ today. A great team and a brilliant result. Thanks to Medtronic both Jackie and Danni for supporting the caseπππ
Was really nice to do the first Prevail DEB case in NZ today. What an amazing team at GH Cardiovascular and thanks to Danni and Joel from Medtronic for the support.
So proud of you and it's been a long and fun journey for you and all that have followed. This is an amazing conclusion and hats off to Rasha from a old former ORBITAer. Well done Rasha and ORBITA2 team ππππ
Mark enjoy that well deserved retirement. You were the first to let me do coronary angiography more then 25 years ago. I am forever grateful to you for that introduction to Intervention. A try legend in Cardiology Sir and you legacy shall continue in the Antipodes.
Retiring today after 35 years as a consultant cardiologist.
Proudest achievement - my involvement in the training of, and friendship with, a new generation of brilliant cardiologists, physicians, GPs and even surgeonsβ¦
Itβs been (mostly) great fun and rather lovelyβ¦
@vass_vassiliou@BartOlechowski Had to make the choice Nice car or Lab! Lab means one day can possibly have more than, itβs going to be a dedicated cardiac centre.
What should you do with a MidLife Crisis? Get a Porsche? Get a Tesla? New Partner? Nope, build a Cath lab to celebrate π your 50th! Awesome π to see my lab actually happening. If anything itβs bigger than I imagined ππππ§
@DrBIqbal@SyedYNaqvi1@Ramku14 So Billy, I took off the table to discuss. But the consensus from all other Interventionists (apart from me) was PCI. Hence my tweet as I was surprised to be an outlier in the MDT as I thought the evidence in this case was clear to pursue OMT.
Lot of debate at the Cardiology MDT here in Sydney. 49 year old with CT coronary stenosis and angiography demonstrating lesion in LAD. RFR 0.92 after several measurements and FFR 0.80. Diagonal RFR 0.93, FFR 0.81. What do u do?
