When there is a match at Amex Stadium, there is no separate queue provided at Brighton station for those not attending the football. I'm not comfortable queuing with loud, drunk football fans who spill beer on me. You can do better to look after your customers.
I'm sure I'm not supposed to have favourite poems that I have written but I always got a kick out of this one. It was published in the summer issue of The Opiate. :)
I thought I might share the other poem of mine that snuck into the second Loft Anthology. It's about my first job, in a shop called Roches Stores on Henry Street, Dublin. The last line might be the title of my next collection. Thanks a million for reading. :)
I liked learning this word... Selcouth (adjective) - meaning 'strange, unusual, rare; unfamiliar; marvellous, wondrous'. Thanks for reading my submission and selecting some of my work @SelcouthStation 🎈
