Its unfortunate that india's healthcare and major govt policies mainly focuses on secondary and tertiary care of prevention. There are very less opportunities in india to work as public health specialist.Psm is a very good branch to bring change in healthcare!!
What’s happening to premier services? Clearly amended service exams & quotas are affecting the selection. Why should doctors & engineers join services when they are trained for other jobs. In US an engineer will join where technology is developed not bribes collected.
Social media platforms crowded with medicos running their own Youtube channels or posting reels on Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Telegram and Facebook plugging products and earnings fat sums
Ethics regulations bar docs from promoting brands or commercial products

An estimated ₹25–28 crore is collected from FMGE application fees in a single session. Yet, there is no transparent public disclosure of how these crores are being utilized.
(Roughly it costs 5-7cr to conduct this exam, RTI revealed that NBEMS spent about ₹24 crore to conduct the much larger NEET PG 2024 examination, which had over 2.2 lakh candidates and was held in multiple shifts with extensive security arrangements.)
FMGE candidates deserve answers.
Despite paying ₹6,195 for a screening exam, many candidates reported non-functional ACs, poor ventilation, lack of drinking water, and spending 7–8 hours in uncomfortable conditions.
To make matters worse, the June 2026 FMGE reached an unprecedented level of difficulty with lengthy clinical and video-based questions.
FMGE is a screening examination not a competitive entrance exam. Its purpose is to determine whether a graduate meets the minimum standard to practice safely, not to create an unnecessary barrier by making the exam disproportionately difficult.
If candidates are paying crores collectively, they deserve:
• Basic human amenities at every centre.
• Transparency on how examination fees are utilized.
• A fair screening examination that serves its intended purpose.
High fees. Poor facilities. Unnecessary toughness. FMGE candidates don't deserve this . @NbeIndia@PTI_News@News18India@FAIMA_INDIA_@NMC_BHARAT

If you spend all day in a fish market, you’ll carry the smell of fish. Spend all day in a perfume shop, and you’ll carry its fragrance. Spend your days with complainers, and you’ll begin to see problems everywhere. Spend them with grateful people, and you’ll begin to see possibilities everywhere.

There is a law which can be made ineffective intentionally; officials may not provide information; ruling parties may discourage people to file and official to not provide information; but no party can criticise it publicly and no govt can dare to repeal— it is RTI Act. It is lifeline for ordinary citizen.
