The US Embassy has openly stated that it is not in a position to evacuate or assist private US citizens, advising them to make their own arrangements.
Think about that. This is the most powerful country in the world, refusing to evacuate its citizens from the soil of a strong ally, and yet there will be no public outrage, no social media theatrics, no performative victimhood.
Now compare that with India. India has no direct stake in the conflict. It repeatedly advised its citizens to leave. Many ignored those warnings. Yet when the situation worsened, and airspace closed, India still scrambled resources, and worked to ensure their safety.
And in return, it will still gets taunts, mockery, and political point-scoring. The same thankless voices who ignore advisories are usually the first to ridicule rescue efforts. This isn’t new, we saw the same during the Ukraine crisis.
Unpopular opinion - after reading the latest chapter, I think Blackbeard should have gone for Loki's devil fruit.
If he had known
#ONEPIECE1175
A thread-
@WorstGenHQ All the gods from the First World are dead; their essences were preserved—and imprisoned—within the Mythical Zoan Devil Fruits and passed on. Except IMU, the current world leader
@3SkullJoe Nidhogg's intro in #ONEPIECE1175 totally imbalances the scaling. If Loki teams up with Luffy. Imu steamrolling feels way less guaranteed now; this could force Imu to go all-out early or make the final war a legit alliance stomp.
Communists launched Naxalism with the goal of creating a "classless society through armed revolution." Yup! That was the stated aim.
But the greatest irony is that the very foundation of Naxalism had a class divide: rich and poor.
The rich ones, so-called urban intellectuals, usually from privileged backgrounds, remained in cities, blending into mainstream society. They wrote books, gave lectures, earned money, won awards, and enjoyed fame. They never risked their lives, nor did their children take up arms.
Meanwhile, it was the poor, landless, tribal youth who picked up guns, lived in forests, and died in encounters, chasing a dream sold to them by the former group.
And as the movement collapses, it's clear who pays the price: only the poor die. The rich face no consequences. Their lives, careers, and assets remain untouched, shielded by the very system they claimed to fight.
All those who mocked Modi with jibes like 10 din ho gaye, 14 din ho gaye, kaha hai badla that he promised, kaha hai 56 inch, are now chanting Jai Hind and Jai Hind ki Sena, ONLY. Not a single word of credit for Modi.
If anything goes wrong, it's his fault. If right, it's thanks to everyone but him.
Come on people, give the old warhorse his due. Not that your words change anything, but at least do it for your own conscience.
