@Empty_America The Federal Reserve can’t print nurses, roofers, or (qualified) truck drivers. Remember that the next time someone says “healthcare is a right” or “housing” is a basic right. Doesn’t mean they won’t try, though.
@lisaabramowicz1@DiMartinoBooth Government-generated statistics vs. semi-independent organization’s statistics.
Government-generated data, no matter how “hard” it is, is suspect .
@FeedJake14@kevin_barral Hitting a baseball is hard. Throwing one is not. Humans have been throwing rocks at animals and each other for thousands of years. It’s in our genes.
How can someone throw a football strong and accurate, but not be able to throw a baseball??
@BrianSuttererMD These elites , thru their heredity and training, have transformed their physiology into something superhuman. A different kind of human. 180 strides/min, with a stride length of 6.5 ft, for 120 minutes. Try that for 1 minute, then put some ice on your torn hamstrings.
@nickbateman33 No height weight out there for Sebastian, but Kipchoge is 5’7” 115-120 lbs. Multi time marathon winner. These are small men. But his stride length is like 6’4” at 180 strides/min. Try that for a while on your next run. Then get some ice for your hamstrings.
@Jcruzer01@BoomerDivvies The “Millionaire “Next Door” tends to appreciate quality, durability, and longevity, and 20 year old Corollas, Tundras, and Tacomas (my choice) are the best examples. Audi, bmw, and MB are pretty, but unreliable and expensive to fix. Personalities migrate toward brands.
@Polymarket The further we travel into the Information Age, the less we actually know. The more entangled in Social Networks we get, the more antisocial we become. The more Global societies becomes, the more isolated people get. My Great Oxymorons of the 21st century.
@FirstSquawk@jorgepup1 Illegal non domiciles not allowed to drive anymore. Only legal drivers=fewer trucks running. Rates are skyrocketing, but with fewer trucks.
@rannotic@FirstSquawk Engines used in portable generators parked outside your local data center. See CAT too. No highway compliant engine but they still make one for generators. Funny thing is, these sit idle 99% of time, with an occasional test-run.
@JDVance That’s why cops are told not to stand in front of running cars or shoot at moving cars. Because people panic and often make the wrong decision.
@JDVance He watched turning the wheel to the right as she put it in the drive. Maybe he shouldn’t have been holding his phone when he shot three times in the general vicinity of his partner. Reckless and undisciplined behavior she was stupid.
@JDVance His feet were positioned outside the left edge of the car when he took the first shot. He got bumped as she turned and drove past him, causing him to jostle the camera in his left hand. You and I have been bumped harder in a grocery store parking lot.
@JDVance Video shows he took three shots in less than one second. The third shot went thru open window. There’s no way he could’ve taken the first two shots from in front of the vehicle and then the third through the side window, all in less than one second.
@Timcast Why is ICE carrying a phone with left hand to video, while drawing weapon with right, then firing? All the while, still holding his phone? Without saying/shouting anything to driver? Into a moving car. While his partner is on the door handle. Bad police judgement & tactics.
@MickWest In what LEO training do they teach you hold your phone with left hand, draw weapon with right? Then watch her turn wheel hard right, then not yell “STOP!”, then shoot 5” from A pillar while partner is on drivers door? Then 2 more in moving car? Undisciplined, reckless.
