Last week we had a visit from a vet. They taught us about animals and their babies and how to care for different pets.

This morning we have been learning at The life cycle of a duck. We are enjoying watching our duckling play and grow.

We are excited to announce that 3 of our ducklings have hatched and are doing very well.

We have had a very eggciting arrival! Over the next few weeks we will be observing some ducklings hatching. We will keep you all updated! 🐥

This week we have been learning about Chinese New Year! 🇨🇳 We learnt the story of The Great Race and found out about how people in China celebrate. This is the a year of the Dragon! We made our own dancing dragon. 🐉

Happy Thursday! We are so proud of how ready the children have been to learn this week. They have been independently accessing all areas of the classroom with engagement and excitement.

We have recently been studying the Moon in Reception. We watched the first man step onto the surface with amazement and fascination. We want find out what the weather feels like up there? 🌙🌜🚀👩‍🚀

We enjoyed having a boogie to the song ‘Celebration’ together during our music session. We talked about the bits we liked and how it made us feel. 💃🕺🪩

Our team of Reception children loved attending the Multi Sports Festival at Gateshead Stadium. They were great ambassadors for our school and we are very proud of them.
