Capitalism: people who don’t know each other cooperating through voluntary contributions of labor, ultimately achieving benefits for themselves and even the whole stadium. 🌭
the earl of sandwich literally invented the sandwich so that he could have a snack while playing cards without getting his fingers dirty that’s the whole point of putting things between two slices of bread
This is my hot take on mental illness... you may not like it. So strap in.
People who are in the throws of mental illness are typically deeply ashamed of that struggle. They don't talk about it. They don't put it on display.
"Destigmatizing" mental health struggles was well intentioned to get people the help they might have otherwise not sought out. It's had some unintended consequences.
"Mental illness" has now been co-opted by people (mostly women) who suffer from a desperate need for attention. They wear their "diagnoses" on their sleeves like a badge of honor.
Just think about what had to occur for this video to take place... she set up her camera, put ice in a bowl, did the whole throwing it at the bathtub thing, and then edited the video after to post on the internet.
So many steps. So many opportunities to rethink those choices. People in the throws of the mental illness they claim are not usually thinking when they act. They have no time to prepare. They just "do."
This isn't someone experiencing any level of shame. This is someone experiencing pride. She wants attention. She wants to feel like the hero and this is her opportunity.
We want people to feel less shame in order to get help, but we do not want a society without shame altogether. It only encourages others to overly identify with their illness (and let's face it, even sometimes fake one), and stay fully in it for the validation it brings in our modern culture.
I don’t know who needs to hear this but..
The entirety of the United States Constitution was written for Americans only.
It’s not the world Constitution.
It’s the United States Constitution.
Non-citizens and criminals do not possess rights under this document.
Just a not friendly reminder, Communism
is NOT LEGAL in the UNITED STATES of AMERICA. It is in fact, a CRIME.
Also, attempting to overthrow the government, actively attempting to abolish the Constitution and the Supreme Court is a crime known as Sedition, punishable by death.
Here's something y'all might find interesting.
We needed my granddaughters birth certificate yesterday but her mom didn't have a copy.
She's 2 BTW...
I called the County Clerk and asked if my wife could come get it and they said absolutely!!
So my wife drove to City Hall, filled out a 1 page form, paid $23 and left 30 minutes later with it in hand.
These people telling you they can't get their birth certificates are either the stupidest fucking people this country has ever seen
Or they're lying because it fits their narrative!!
The Constitution does NOT give you rights. You already have them.
The Constitution simply tells the government that it cannot take those s rights away.
I wish more people understood this.
