NEW: Rep. Delia Ramirez (D-IL) says DHS is "the single greatest threat to our public safety today" while announcing a bill that dismantles DHS entirely & abolishes ICE. She claims her bill would keep TSA, FEMA, and CISA, but would get rid of ICE, CBP, and Border Patrol, and that customs work at ports of entry and airports would somehow continue, even though she would be eliminating the agency responsible for that customs work (CBP).

No CBP/Border Patrol/ICE = complete open borders and an end to all immigration enforcement entirely.

Ramirez says she will introduce the legislation in the coming weeks, and she knows it will be "agitating".

"Let's be frank, we know that this bill is going to be agitational," Ramirez said. "When they ask us why we made the choices we made, we're going to remind them of the moment we're living.
