@HampdenPark Why is it impossible to find out times of event currently happening at Hampden. You site only mentions distant international football. Need to know when I can return home to the area and get parked.

@theiaincameron I’ve been trolled on the snow patch fb page just for mentioning climate change activism. Social media is a cesspool, especially X. Whatever happened to debate and discussion.

[Ruanaich @ruanaich]

@GlasgowCC It’s great I can leave my car at home. Avoiding potholes and most of the people in these comments.

[Iain Cameron @theiaincameron]

Ahhh, Scottish summer. It’s July 4th and there’s fresh snow on the top of the mountain @glencoemountain.

All monies spent on titles. Audio an afterthought. Volume going up as I type.

[Alex Watson @imalexwatson]

Is it just me or is the audio quality during the #bbcdebate so far really naff? Quite tinny and quiet.

Is the sound a bit shit or is it my telly? #BBCDebate

[Ruanaich @ruanaich]

@mark_wootten Thought it was my hearing too. Definitely lower volume than other channels.

JUST IN: The ongoing geomagnetic storm has been upgraded to level 5 out of 5, or "extreme," making it the first G5-level storm since 2003.

Scientists are warning of potential disruptions to communications over the weekend.

GPS, spacecraft and satellite navigation may also be impacted. U.S. utility companies are monitoring the potential threat to the power grid as well according to CNN.

The video below was posted by BBC Meteorologist @MetMattTaylor.

"This is the astounding view as far south as Switzerland a short while ago… on top of Jungfraujoch," he posted.

Well our poll of the day lasted long....

Kinlochewe has recorded 19.2C today, making it provisionally a new UK maximum temperature record for January and a new winter record (Dec-Feb) for Scotland 🌡️

[Ruanaich @ruanaich]

@theAliceRoberts @findsorguk I wonder where exactly. I’m originally from Cardross, near Ardmore Point, which has know ballast dumps below the shoreline. These often contained slag from heavy industry. The object reminded me of oven handles and lead me to images of induction heating coils.

[Ruanaich @ruanaich]

@StuFraDa The photo and headline for this story is deliberately misleading. This is a Tory adviser claiming we’d get a better quality of MSP if they were paid more. It’s not a claim from MSPs themselves.

BREAKING: The RNLI refuses to take donations from a rural country fox hunt.

“The RNLI refuses to take donations from Dungarvan fox hunting club saying The RNLI will not be used as a weapon to make fox hunting acceptable.”

Good on them! 🦊👏

[Chris Packham @ChrisGPackham]

I’m sorry to spoil your Boxing Day evening @UKLabour @Keir_Starmer @SteveReedMP @AngelaRayner but this poor fox is not having one . This is the face of illegal fox hunting in the UK . . . it’s got to end . . . we respectfully ask that you will end ‘trail hunting’ in your manifesto . Thank you

@ChrisGPackham @ChrisGPackham those shorter rounded wings of the sparrow hawk have adapted over millennia to squeeze underneath Volkswagens . Goshawks meanwhile are more adept with Rangerovers etc.
