15 वर्षों तक पश्चिम बंगाल की मुख्यमंत्री रही आदरणीय @MamataOfficial जी पर गुंडों द्वारा किया गया जानलेवा हमला अत्यंत निंदनीय है। लोकतंत्र में हिंसा का कोई स्थान नहीं है। बीजेपी द्वारा अराजकता, नफ़रत और हिंसा का सामान्यीकरण करना जनतंत्र के लिए दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण है।

রাজ্যের প্রাক্তন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দোপাধ্যায়ের উপর আজ বিজেপির পরিকল্পিত হামলার আমরা তীব্র নিন্দা করি। এই রাজ্যে বর্তমানে আইনের শাসন নয়, শাসকের আইন চলছে! মমতা বন্দোপাধ্যায় এই রাজ্যের প্রথম মহিলা মুখ্যমন্ত্রী ছিলেন, তাঁর নিরাপত্তা ও সুরক্ষা সুনিশ্চিত করা রাজ্য সরকার ও প্রশাসনের অন্যতম দায়িত্ব। সেই দায়িত্ব পালনে এই রাজ্যের বর্তমান বিজেপি সরকার সম্পূর্ণ ভাবে ব্যর্থ।
এ প্রসঙ্গে উল্লেখ্য যে, আজই আর জি কর কান্ডে অভয়ার মৃত্যুর দু'বছর পূর্ণ হলো। আজও অভয়া বিচার পাননি। সেই ব্যর্থতার দায় বিজেপি এড়িয়ে যেতে পারেনা। সেই সময় কেন্দ্রের @BJP4India সরকারের দায়সারা পদক্ষেপ এবং আজকের রাজ্যের @BJP4Bengal সরকারের অভয়ার বিচারের বিষয়ে উদ্যোগহীনতা দিনের আলোর মতই স্পষ্ট। অভয়া কান্ডের দু'বছর পূর্ণ হবার দিনেই তাই বিজেপির ওই ব্যর্থতার দিক থেকে মানুষের চোখ ও আলোচনার প্রসঙ্গ ঘুরিয়ে দিতেই কি মমতা বন্দোপাধ্যায়ের উপর এই হামলা?
নাকি বিগত দিনে যেভাবে @AITCofficial বিজেপি কে অক্সিজেন দিত ঠিক সেই একইভাবে আজকের এই রাজ্যের বিজেপি সরকার ক্রমশ অপ্রাসঙ্গিক হয়ে পড়া তৃণমূলকে প্রাসঙ্গিক করার লক্ষে তৃণমূলকে রাজনৈতিক ভাবে অক্সিজেন সাপ্লাই দিতেই এই হামলা চালালো!
রাজ্যের প্রাক্তন প্রথম মহিলা মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর উপর বিজেপির এই হামলার কোনো আগাম খবর কি গোয়েন্দা দফতরের কাছে ছিলোনা? যদি তা হয় তবে তা সরকারের গোয়েন্দা দফতরের ব্যর্থতা। নাকি গোয়েন্দা দফতরের রিপোর্ট থাকা সত্ত্বেও তার ভিত্তিতে কার্যকরী পদক্ষেপ সরকার গ্রহণ করেনি? সমস্ত বিষয়টিই আজ সামনে আনতে হবে।
কংগ্রেস মনে করে রাজনৈতিক মতভেদ থাকতেই পারে কিন্তু রাজ্যের প্রাক্তন প্রথম মহিলা মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর নিরাপত্তার দেখভাল সম্পূর্ণ ভাবেই রাজ্য সরকারের দায় ও দায়িত্ব। সে দায়িত্ব রাজ্য সরকার কোনো ভাবেই এড়িয়ে যেতে পারেনা।

So does this Supreme Court judge want @MahuaMoitra to take bullets? What kind of motormouth persons have we appointed as judges? Is this the judicial temperament we expect of constitutional court judges? This is why we need to fix judicial accountability.

The statement is condemnation worthy. Especially when you know about the dire state of affairs in Bengal. If tomorrow anything happens to Ms. Moitra, this bench led by Justice Dipankar Datta will be responsible. He should be ashamed of his conduct. In any functional democracy, such judges would’ve been compelled to resign or be impeached!
