On 19th June 2026, Ruben Centre will commemorate the Day of the African Child under the theme:
"Ensuring Universal Access to Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) for Every Child in Africa."
The discussion focused on teamwork, sustainability, guest relations, and strengthening impact across the Centre and community.

With 3,800 learners, infrastructure is a major priority. As a dedicated partner to the school, Ruben Centre supports where resources are most stretched. We welcome this government investment and look forward to further professional collaboration to serve our community's children.
1,200 students at Ruben Primary & Junior School now have a better learning environment thanks to 400 new desks funded by the National Government Constituencies Development Fund.

The energy at the Melbourne Cricket Ground was electric as 450+ supporters gathered for the 2026 AFL Lunch. A special moment as our Director Liz Mwangi attended in person for the first time in 7 years, strengthening ties between Mukuru and Australia.

This morning in Embakasi South, we responded to two fire incidents and stood with families affected.
We visited @Rubencentre, AEF Rueben Primary School and noted the urgent need to improve facilities so our children can learn in a safe and dignified environment.
We also engaged with single mothers and youth, reaffirming our commitment as a broad-based government to support and uplift our communities.
Food support was distributed through Special Programmes and the administration. We thank CS @gk_ruku for his continued support to Nairobi County and the good work he is doing across the country.
Through the @PassarisOrg, five mobility aids were issued to persons with disabilities in the community.
Together with the area MCA, Scolastica Muthoni (Kwa Rueben), and RCC East Sub Region, Werre Simiyu, OGW, and his team, we came together to serve the people. Though from different political formations, we are united in putting wananchi first.
We continue to support the people of Nairobi and align with the President’s development agenda.
From 20 to 500+ families, this staff-led initiative continues to spread hope and love. Big thanks to Micato for gifting our learners books & bags! As we reflect on the spirit of service, we wish all Christians a happy and blessed Easter break!
