@WeAreAustinTV rodo was obsessed with flexibility having players that could play more than one position. what good is a roster of jack-of-all-trades-masters-of-none if your $10 M DP’s can’t get service? practically no offense, and the defense got worse every year. no surprises here
i find it fascinating this move is coming in the heels of the city changing bulk trash pickup from twice a year to a scheduled service. used to be entrepreneurs & opportunists would scour curbs on bulk pickup day, instead, the city is just taking it for themselves
#ATXCouncil votes to acquire property that Austin Resource Recovery will use as a reuse warehouse. Gently used donated items will be accepted and distributed to nonprofit organizations to furnish homes for those transitioning out of homelessness. 🛌
A move completely antithetical to the ethos of the Alamo and to those who love the theatrical experience they provide. This is a profound and upsetting mistake @alamodrafthouse
cowboys fans are asking some really tough questions right now, and i gotta say, i don't have the answers. i don't know which texans jersey you should buy
@CharlesRobinson pretty cool to reflect on the fact that in hindsight, caserio chose the right pick for the anderson trade-up. still remember the grief he got about supposedly giving up a top 5 pick in this draft. trade was was still pricey as hell but no longer eye-watering #GoTexans
@jamesrambin i work in that zone and wouldn’t be mad. the city and tenants are used to closures there for what feels like once a month — marathon, tribune fest, texas book festival, cmt awards, etc — so making it permanent would mean less brain damage on the commute
@jamesrambin i think it’s because they also watch portlandia down under? picturing this guy poring over the local bean crop like fred armisen at the chicken farm
Proud Mary, the Australia-inspired cafe tucked off of South Lamar, has some of the most carefully sourced and intricately brewed coffee anywhere in town. https://t.co/D1SAV4D2aQ
