BREAKING: IMPD arrests a 14-year-old in connection with the murder of 23-year-old Brett Scrogham in downtown Indianapolis on May 28.
The 14-year-old was taken into custody on June 3 on Indianapolis’ west side.
"While today's arrest is significant, my heart breaks for everyone impacted by this tragedy. A young man lost his life, and another now faces allegations that will change his life forever," said Chief Tanya Terry.
"This arrest is the result of countless hours of dedicated work by our IMPD detectives, officers, and US Marshalls. While today's announcement marks an important step forward in this investigation, it cannot heal or ease the pain felt by Mr. Scrogham's family, friends, and loved ones. This case is a tragic reminder that a single act of violence can alter countless lives in an instant.”
America cannot allow waste, fraud, and abuse to poison our federal child care programs.
That's why I introduced legislation in the Stop Child Care Scams Act to make sure there is better transparency and increased oversight to protect precious taxpayer dollars.
While your “conservative” heroes continue to shill for Qatar and Russia, Turning Point USA continued to kick ass for America last night. An incredible amount of political muscle continues to be flexed by @TPAction, proving we are one of the most lethal endorsements every candidate needs. If you’re black pilling, you’re almost certainly falling for foreign propaganda.
Oz has called out Muslims he believes are too extreme and reiterated, like other GOP politicians, that he worries about Islamic law.
"We don't want Sharia law in America," he said in a May interview on Real America's Voice, a conservative television outlet, referring to Islam's historic legal system that has been controversial in the West -- and particularly among Republicans -- for its approach to criminal justice, democracy and women's rights.
I'm a secular Muslim," Oz told Real America's Voice in May. "I don't want any of these religious fanatics playing a role in American society, and I would aggressively block them."
When asked then whether he believed America was founded "on Judeo-Christian principles derived from the Bible," Oz replied, "Of course," before noting that his four children and four grandchildren are all baptized and Christian.

“According to the FBI’s Hate Crime in the United States Incident Analysis, law enforcement agencies across the United States reported 437 anti-Catholic hate-crime incidents over the past five years. The same analysis found 2,321 reported anti-Jewish hate crimes in 2024, as well as 287 anti-Islamic hate crimes.” - https://t.co/o9N5q3cu0L
Why is banning Sharia law being propped up as a bad thing? Susan B. Anthony is rolling in her grave.
The disrespect is out of this world. Go back to your shitholes. This is a picture I took in 2024 right before the Olympics. Paris was peaceful. If only they could be like that every day of the Olympics, putting on a show as if they are a safe city.
As a little girl I dreamed of one day going to Paris, clipping a lock on the bridge, standing beneath the Eiffel Tower, and eating real French pastries and cuisine.
As a grown woman I wanted to stand in awe of the wonders of Western civilization our ancestors built.
That dream is being erased right now by third world invaders who are burning and tearing it to the ground.
If the men who stormed the beaches of Normandy could see what we’ve allowed to happen to the Europe they died to save… they would have fought a very different war.
RIP Brett Scrogham.
Bukele turned El Salvador around - from the most murderous place in the world to the least.
That libs don't turn their cities around shows they actually want people like Brett dead. Simple.
Libs hate themselves, they hate their parents, they hate their ancestors, and they hate us. If they have their way, all of us will be erased and replaced with mass invasion.
Pray for Brett's family, and pray that more good men rise and say "ENOUGH!"
@BenReidy_@HistoryNut_1945 The fact data centers are given tax abatements is asinine they’re coming anyways. County’s who also place them next to housing is crazy too. They need strategically placed. Industrial parks, former military installations and so forth. Not next to urban housing.

.@BallState President Geoffrey Mearns responds to the @ACLUIndiana settlement:
“On September 22, 2025, as you may recall, Ms. Suzanne Swierc, a former university employee, filed a federal lawsuit against me. In the complaint that she filed, Ms. Swierc claimed that my decision to terminate her employment violated her First Amendment rights. When the federal court approves a negotiated settlement between me and Ms. Swierc, the lawsuit will be dismissed.
“Under the terms of the settlement agreement, our University provided Ms. Swierc with a modest monetary payment. I authorized that payment, because it is substantially less than the anticipated amount of our University’s legal fees to defend the case. The settlement does not vindicate Ms. Swierc’s claims, as her lawyers have stated today.
“Some faculty, staff, students, and other people associated with our University have questioned whether my decision to terminate Ms. Swierc’s employment violated her First Amendment rights. They have also wondered how my decision comports with our University’s commitment to freedom of expression.
“I send this message to provide you with information that is responsive to these questions. My objective is to provide you with the information that I was unable to share during the pendency of the litigation, because I was committed to respecting the court and the judicial process.
“My decision to terminate Ms. Swierc’s employment was based on the relevant facts, and it was guided by the applicable First Amendment case law in the context of public education. As I explain below, I concluded that I had the legal authority and, indeed, the professional responsibility to preserve our University’s mission and to protect our faculty and our staff from harassment.
“On the afternoon of September 10, 2025, Charlie Kirk was shot and killed while speaking to students on the campus of Utah Valley University. Less than six hours later, at approximately 8:00 p.m., Ms. Swierc posted a statement on Facebook about Charlie Kirk’s murder. Ms. Swierc has characterized her post as a private, Facebook friends-only message. She later acknowledged, however, that she had made her message readily available to more than 1,000 people, including some university employees.
“In her Facebook post, Ms. Swierc wrote that Charlie Kirk’s “death is a tragedy.” But she made a few other comments that caused a major public controversy and that led to substantial disruption to our University’s operations. For example, she wrote, “Let me be clear, if you think Charlie Kirk was a wonderful person, we can’t be friends.” She also wrote, “Charlie Kirk’s death is a reflection of the violence, fear, and hatred he sowed.”
“Shortly after midnight on September 12, 2025, approximately 28 hours after Ms. Swierc disseminated her Facebook message, someone created a post on X, the social media platform formerly called Twitter. That post included a screenshot of Ms. Swierc’s Facebook statement and a screenshot of her university title and her official university photograph. The post also “tagged” our University’s official account on X.
“The reaction to this further dissemination of Ms. Swierc’s public statement about Charlie Kirk was immediate, extensive, and unrelenting. Moreover, the reaction was extraordinarily damaging to our University’s reputation and image, and it was exceptionally disruptive to our mission and our people…
On today’s episode of Candace Owen’s show, Candace said she is off air next week because she will be in Russia.
This comes after Russian state media RT has spent over a year amplifying Candace’s attacks on Jews and President Trump, as well as her Charlie Kirk assassination conspiracy theories.
It also comes after Putin’s advisor Aleksandr Dugin has been praising Candace and recently said he wants to meet her.
Dugin was recently on video saying he supports Russia selling nukes to Iran to destroy the United States.
Why does it feel like Candace isn’t just vacationing in Russia?
Maybe she will meet with Dugin while she’s in Russia.
Nobody would be surprised.
Very interesting read!
From the article:
“Lyman also claims that left-wing nonprofits funded by Shanghai-based American millionaire Neville Roy Singham, including the Marxist-oriented think tank Tricontinental and the anti-war organization Code Pink, are parroting Chinese Communist Party talking points on U.S. export controls, the environmental impact of data centers and Big Tech’s contributions to U.S. defense. Lyman filters these narratives through the findings of a 2023 New York Times report that Singham-linked organizations constitute “a global web of Chinese propaganda,” and at various points have attacked Hong Kong pro-democracy activists in London, denied evidence of forced labor in Xinjiang and promoted Chinese lending practices in Africa. Jodie Evans, the co-founder of Code Pink and Singham’s wife, “casts [China] as a defender of the oppressed and a model for economic growth without slavery or war,” wrote the Times.”
