This is Israeli Staff Sgt. Eden Alon Levy.
19 years old.

Saved the lives of around 100 soldiers.

She was killed while heroically battling the Hamas invasion on October 7th

At 8 am her family said, she sent one last message in their WhatsApp group chat:

“I love you guys.”

She died as a hero.

Commander in the Home Front Command, from Nirit, she was killed fighting Hamas terrorists at the Zikim training base on October 7.

Her sister Nofar stated that the family has found “some sort of comfort that she died as a hero, that she fought, she did what she believed in until the last moment, and she saved the lives of 100 soldiers which is crazy.”

Levy was on duty at the base when the Hamas onslaught began, and she and the other commanders told all the young trainees on base to seek shelter, saving their lives.

She is survived by her parents, Inbar and Asher, and her four siblings, Roi, Nofar, Shani and Tamir. She was buried on October 8 in Kfar Saba.

Her loved ones said that aside from her love for the army — where she was exploring the possibility of pilot’s training, Eden loved to dance, and did so for a decade, including performances with a local dance troupe.

Azerbaijani media are publishing footage of detained Russian citizens — young, disoriented, and visibly roughed up. According to the agency Report, these are members of two organized crime groups suspected of drug trafficking, moving narcotics from Iran, and cyber fraud.

But what's more interesting than the charges is the presentation: the video is shot exactly like Russian arrest clips of migrants — including Azerbaijanis. Camera rolling, faces on the floor, carefully staged “neutralization” for public effect.

It’s a mirror message: Russians will now be treated the same way they treat migrants (and others). A powerful signal not just to Moscow, but to the whole post-Soviet space: yes, it turns out you can do that too. Biting back. 😬
