Why do real-time data streams give companies a competitive edge?
Richard Timperlake shares his highlights from our latest research with @diginomica. #DataInMotion https://t.co/XGHFia3eOd
Georgia-Pacific relies on SAS® Viya®, SAS Analytics for IoT and SAS Event Stream Processing for Edge on AWS to improve equipment efficiency, reduce downtime, optimize shipping logistics & predict customer churn. #IoT#IIoT#Streaminganalytics#AI

Besides accessibility and scalability, the tight integration with the Azure platform was one of the reasons for Bekaert to choose SAS as an #analytics partner. @Bekaert @sasbelux https://t.co/RpZYLiVRjE
@sasforums#SASChat#5G#AIOT for me, I am just looking forward to greater resilience and robustness, if #5G 'at scale' can maintain all that we have been told regards bandwidth and reliability, it will certainly help us get more useful #AI working in places it is needed the most !
@sasforums#saschat it could be argued that the answer to Q5 is the same whatever the connectivity is; hardwire, #5G, wifi etc. To me, #IoT & #AI, really is about gathering the right data to get the desired outcomes, and less about the plumbing that supplies that data.
@sasforums Q3) For me a really interesting, related q, is in how #AIoT can help society in operational digital twin space, helping better predict remedial action for infrastructure, emergencies & catastrophies. not to mention serve the metaverse, as it develops #SASchat#AIoT#5G
@George_Berekos@sasforums LOL, not sure anyone wants to hear about how I spend my weekends #SASChat#5G though I would be a much happier streamer and gamer if 4G was less patchy and more robust, let's hope #5G can deliver on all the hype we have been hearing for the last few years 📶
@sasforums Q1) #SASchat, Firstly I am hoping #5G might help speed up the refreash rate on my twitter searches 🤣 But more seriously, 5G should help us unlock far more insightful analytics outcomes, faster and earlier in the data lifecycle, from the #IoT
@RetroGamer_Mag Farewell Sir Clive, my obsession with computing, technology and gadgets began with the ZX81 which I assembled while living in a portacabin in the middle of the desert in Saudi and then learned to code from gaming magazines, thanks for the inspiration !
@JoannaNholm same here and I will strive to be better informed. so when I make descisions to do 'something', I am at least more aware of the impact 'that thing' might cause #SASchat#climateresilience#Silobusting
@sasforums A3) There are a lot of great examples out there, I particularly like the work we @SASsoftware are doing with #Microsoft at town of cary as a way to help better inform & start to improve predictions on a local level https://t.co/yuXvfhqm0k

@LeeAnnDietz Agree, I think it is important that we have policies and governance in place, but it is going to be down to each & every one of us to do our best embracing changes in our lives needed for the concept of climate resilience to be realised. #SASchat#ClimateResilience#silobusting
@sasforums A1) on a personal (and practical) level, the work I have been trying to do in my garden has been highly disrupted. Weather predictions seem to be harder to rely on and extremes of hot and cold seem to be more obvious and frequent for sure. #SASchat#ClimateResilience
