@csimons3 School nurse here. The nurse should not be condescending, but your response doesn’t need to be either. In Ohio the religious exemption has to be renewed yearly. Parents act like I’m making personal judgment or pulling rules out the air. We do get audited.

@farmingandJesus I’m so sorry Lizzie. The waiting is so hard. After 3 years of waiting, our agency closed and all the time and many thousands of dollars were wasted. We came so close to just giving up. We now have a beautiful little boy that I have no doubt was meant for us. Praying for you guys.

@audreyy_kaye Ohio is not a super midwife friendly state. That being said, you should be able to find a lay midwife that will do it.

@farmingandJesus I have felt all of this. After many years of waiting and bumps and mountains along the way. . . . By the grace of God, we were able to adopt a beautiful baby boy. It doesn’t mean I don’t still feel these feelings sometimes, but beyond grateful for the child He gave us.
