Rhaena taking Sheepstealers affection (Letting her ride, touch, bringing her food & eating with her) as having control, coupled with her insecurity & feeling useless…she was rash & not thinking clearly- messy & tragic. Dragons are a power men shouldn’t have trifled with.

Also, even though there are obvious changes to the story in general, I truly believe we well get most of the storylines to end up the same way as in F&B. We’ll see!

Guys, we’re 3 seasons in with HOTD. We’ve known the show has taken different routes in many of the storylines presented. This is not fkn new. Yes, I would’ve loved to see the dragonseeds at the Gullet. But what we got, makes total sense imo.

I have been a huge fan of HOTD since the beginning. My big complaint was the erasure of one of my absolute favoriteF&B/ASOIAF characters, Nettles.

But!!!! I have to say, I have warmed up big time to giving the storyline to Rhaena.

That’s not to say that it is better than Nettles storyline in F&B, the possible connections to the ASOIAF main storyline alone make it even more intriguing. BUT! That’s exactly one of the reason ms why I think that is something that can easily be butchered when adapting to TV.
