@kiel_robinson@FionaDiomond How many billions could the homeless make, with safe warm homes, regular food, treatment for substance abuse, trauma and mental illness, and access to education, training and stable work?
It’s hard to know who and what to trust these days…
But this incredible clip nails it
Simply:
Don’t trust idiots
And how do you spot an idiot?
Look for the people who are cruel…
@DeborahMeaden Tweets from you Deborah and the other political and business commentators I follow disappeared within days of the takeover. I had to follow you and streamline who I follow in order to see your tweets again. Still not seeing many others though
@mrjamesob Since the Tories took power in 2010, the pound has plummeted from $1.63 down to $1.08 whilst, thanks to the massive economic failures that were austerity and Brexit, national debt has risen from 75% of GDP to 95%. When are people going to stop trusting them with our economy?
@mrjamesob I don’t understand the premise of shows like this. Why ask Jeremy Vine viewers to debate a legal issue? How will they know what the precedent in international law is? If you want a considered response to important political questions from viewers, you need to improve education
@johnlappin@IanDunt Getting more authoritarian every day: pulling back Human Rights Act and judicial review, quashing protest rights, setting up total under cover police immunity, insisting on voter ID to exclude the poorest at the ballot box, controlling the BBC...the list goes on and on.
