Watching Daniel Radcliffe grow up on screen across the eight Harry Potter films is one of the most incredible cinematic journeys ever captured.
The physical transformation perfectly mirrors the tonal shift of the entire story. We start with the bright, wide-eyed innocence of an 11-year-old boy discovering magic for the first time in The Sorcerer’s Stone. By the middle films like Prisoner of Azkaban and Goblet of Fire, the hair gets longer, the expressions get more teenage-angst, and the weight of the wizarding world starts to settle on his shoulders.
