He “genuinely” views her as his little sister in real life. She gave him a confidence booster after the backlash he received from novel fans over his casting in Hidden Love, when he was still “gassed up” about needing to look good and fit what everyone expected.

She told him, “Why don’t you just be yourself? Why are you trying to be someone you’re not?” and encouraged him to “utilize what you have and fit that into the character” and “just be funny.”
